I'm literally using a dozen note taking apps, including writting in paper notebook, this thing is an absolute dream come true.... but not yet, not until I have it!!! It's gonna replace all those apps, and be the main hub for all my notes, AND I CAN GO NUTS WITH MY COLOR CODING OBSESSION - I HAVE GOT TO HAVE THIS TECHNOLOGY GIMME NOW!! LOL...not exagurating one bit, I must have this!!!!

have the Huawei mate book E, that comes with the Pen in the box, it is a windows tablet, I can use as computer also as a notebook device, it comes with Keyboard and pen in the box, also have Thunderbolt 3. My question is, what would make me buy a notebook that the purpose is only to take notes, and don't even come with the pen? Also, my matebook E have an Oled screen. I don't seen why this device is so expensive.

It does come with a pen genius. Why don't you finish the video first before you start yapping. Like you said? Why would you buy a digital notebook that is only meant to take notes?? HAVE YOU SEEN A NOTEBOOK WITH APPS??? reMarkable has a specific audience where it targets, and if that doesn't include you then stop yapping. It isn't trying to compete with other brands on the market that has a different purpose in the first place. IT ISN'T MEANT TO HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA. Why don't you research first on why they made it in the first place.

I genuinely don’t understand, what’s the point of this if I can buy an iPad, at an even cheaper price? I can easily put a special screen protector on iPad and it will feel like writing on paper. Some one please educate me.

reMarkable devices is a digital notebook, it's not supposed to have the functions of a regular iPad or tablet of all sorts. It has it's small audience and SPECIFIC customers for a reason, most of it is for people who just wants to concentrate on their work and not need to carry various files everywhere they go. The purpose of it's simplicity is for those that cherishes creativity and peaceful minds, not for it to have AI or other things that could distract it. I understand you're only curious about the difference, but I think you should do your own research on this too on the comparisons of this device and iPads or Tablets. It'll help, and I think more people should do their research before going into conclusions.

Lack of Data Security lets it down. In a world where data privacy & robust security is ever more critical, I need to see Apple-grade security with End-to-end encryption where the user has the decryption keys. Similar to password apps, I would need to see remarkable maintain a zero-knowledge framework, so even they could never access your data even if forced too.
