Excellent tips and techniques! Also, thank you for your concise demonstration on RPP's pdf annotations. Very well made, narrated, and produced.

I didn't know about that awesome gesture that allows the user to do more notes on the margins. Very clever!

And honestly, anyone knows is that supported on RM2 too? 😄

Exportable and editable comments and highlighters is a super necessary addition in the near future. Hope it happens at one point and I'm glad other people are talking about it.

I'm confused. I thought you could send the annotated document to yourself or send it to others via email?
@HenriqueRMota2 ай бұрын
@Imawsome382 Maybe the added this new feature now but as fair as I know those comments and highlights turn into a visual element of your pdf. They are not delectable for example.

This is the big reason I might need to return this tablet. I routinely review 160+ page documents and I love working on the remarkable pro except when I am done, the next team member has to scroll through every single page to find my annotations, they can't simply jump to the pages that have annotations with them. The workflows shown in the examples are very simplistic and highly focused, it becomes much harder to work with annotations in large documents because you can't jump to annotations.

Not expecting much...the internet has become too "noisy"... but no, I watched 'till the end, I enjoyed it (the lady has a nice voice) and learned a few things, and the advice seems sound! So congrats! I received my Pro yesterday, so still a bit excited, pairing with what I had in myRemarkable2... I already came to the conclusion that the best way for y worflow is to do most of the input work in the ReMk2 (better blacks / contrast) and the the "embelishments", annotations, reviews, brain-storming with the Pro. PS: I became so fond and addicted of myReMarkable2 that I bought a spare one (still unwrapped / unboxed) about 2 years ago as I could not stand the idea of a broken screen or some kind of accident deprive me of continuosly working on the reMarkable! Post pst scriptum: yes, I subscribed...sometime ago!

Sorry, but... There would have been many more ways to optimize the workflow in PDF through software updates. I love my Remarkable and use it every day, but I hope you will base your next software releases on some of the options known from the competition that optimize the workflow in PDFs much better than writing a page number on the side... But I congratulate you on what I think is a well thought-out and successful release of the RMPro. A really interesting product.

And export those highlights?…
@chris386632 ай бұрын
Same question for me. What do those annotations look like when I move the PDF back to my PC? What can I select and edit in Acrobat or any other PDF annotations SW? Do I have an option to navigate from one annotation to the next on the device? What about on the PC? Seems like this how-to video forgot that reading and annotating is only step 1 to a 2 step process. Next, we need to transfer those annotations to the next step in the workflow. That is different for everyone, but the competition does a great job making annotations created on a tablet seamless with annotations created in something like Acrobat.

If I highlight and annotate random pages in a 400 pages pdf document how can I find them after? Highlighting with several colors seems fun but if I can’t organize them in any sensible way is not suitable for real life workflow at all.
@airestocky2 ай бұрын
no, those annotations are embedded after exporting to PDF. No real annotation. The reMarakble is just a piece of digital paper in front of you.

Please develop a dedicated drawing and painting app for the Remarkable Paper Pro. With its new color screen, not creating one would be a missed opportunity. Supernote already has a dedicated drawing app, please take note.

Is it possible to export notes and quotes highlighted or underlined on a different file? Does it work with pdf files?
@remarkablepaper2 ай бұрын
Hi there. It is not possible to export only the highlighted or underlined text from your notes or PDF files as a separate file. When exporting, the entire document or notebook is saved as a PDF, including any annotations or highlights.

When you slide the page sideways to increase margin space, or upward to make room for your comments at the bottom - how do those appear on the exported PDF? Are the pages downscaled to create that extra room? Or are things written in these areas of the exported PDF cut off?

I’m a potential customer. If you download a PDF can you change the font size if it’s too small? Or, can you view the PDF in landscape mode?
@remarkablepaper2 ай бұрын
Hi there. When viewing a PDF on the reMarkable, you won't be able to change the font size directly. However, you can zoom in on specific sections to make the text larger. Additionally, you can view PDFs in landscape mode, which may help make the text easier to read.

Hi there. reMarkable 2 has a monochrome E Ink display. This means that it only displays in gray, black, and white. If you highlight text using our Highlighter tool, and then export it as a PDF, it’ll show up as yellow, pink, or green.

@@LucienDupont No no, there isn't any lag. But at the beginning of the video, until second 10, the voice is just speaking over the video and does not match what the woman is visually saying (it's not a mistake, it's just how it is, but it has a weird effect).
