I have a DEF fluid barrel that was completely used and had been sitting outside baking for....months? Does anyone out there know if it's safe to use if it's been filled, agitated, and flushed out with plain clean water twice? Does anyone out there have an opinion? 😅

I still prefer 1-inch 3-ring binders with 4-pocket card sleeves. I like being able to see front and back of each seed packet. One binder for each type of seed and also labeled and coded by growing season. I have a spread sheet that tells me when to start which seeds indoors or direct plant out, along with any necessary information from the seed packet. Yes, I have many binders, but they all fit on one shelf of my large bookcase. To date I have 468 packets of seeds. That will change in the next few days because Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds is about to start a fundraiser. I may be a seedaholic!

Do you have any suggestions on how to create a seal around the opening? I plan on using this to dye wood chips and use as mulch but don’t want she to spill when I spin
@DevinTheGardener
@DevinTheGardener 2 ай бұрын
You could do a pressure seal using rubber so when you bolt the lid shut it puts pressure on the rubber. Then you could spin!

If you want to make that setup, Wire Shelving at 18"x48" are better suited. This dimension is the best for seedling in my opinion. You can fit 4x standard 10x20 trays per shelves. So you can get 16x 10x20 trays per shelving. Also, your 48" shop light will be maximized and they will not exceed the shelves. The highest costs of this setup are the lights, you don't want to lose 1 foot of light that exceed the shelves. Personnaly, i don't use pulley, but only a small chain with a small hook to supsend my lights, the pulley take up too much space (It's like 5 inch per pulley so you will lost a shelve in the total high of the shelf. You don't have to lift the light often, pulley are not so usefull in my opinion, and it's better to have one more shelf full of seedling)

To be honest I just made a video testing a bunch of different things you can use around the house to start seeds in. Yogurt containers, egg cartons etc. Egg cartons performed the worst by a long shot which I just found out
@Ebees_Map
@Ebees_Map 3 ай бұрын
@@DevinTheGardener yup, I think it's due to the fact that the egg carton will absorb the moisture of the soil which dries out the soil and the seed

Devin, what are your thoughts on setting down weed cloth before putting the raised bed down? Or just putting weedcloth down inside the raised bed (even if using non-treated cedar).
@DevinTheGardener

I’d just put weed cloth down before putting the raised garden bed down. Make sure your raised garden beds are at least 6 inches tall for roots

Yep, no matter if you’ve been called infertile or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.
