Tell us why one channel in our niche is performing way beyond ours and what we need to do to improve our performance. The data is there but us part timers need a kick in the right direction to interpret it and make changes

I have so far appealed twice but the last response made me just post my videos for fun only without expecting monetisation because they responded that my appeal focused on a few videos thatn the whole channel but i had showed them everything about how i make videos from recording to editing 😅😢. It's really unfortunate that the appeal video was never viewed because it has no view count and I'm left with no option but to give up because the videos i do are clear lectures where some are even written by in my own handwriting using a tablet others are my typed work in PowerPoint and pdfs and it's 100% my own making

Ditto to the users requesting a setting to designate a 1- to 3-minute long video as either a short or as a standard video. Some of these users want to continue categorizing videos as "short" if they are shorter than a minute, and "standard" if they are longer than a minute.

As far as I know, all channels have access to the communities tab, it's only the new forums feature that we don't have access too!.

Once more people can post on our community tab, will we have the ability to auto-moderate key words like we can with comments on our videos?.

Most of my subscribers don't see my posts.

Could we just please get thumbnail selection from a short for PC users ??? Pretty please ❤ What's the hold up ? Ai is giving me bad thumbnails for many of my shorts and I can`t change it. Why you have no respect for my work ? Many my shorts got horrible thumbnails selected by your system . Why I cant select from 5 possibilities from my short ?

I've been trying to get my audience to chat through my Community Tab posts, but it is not really happening, so I'm very curious to see how this is going to show up and encourage more engagement, as I don't think those posts show up on their YT feeds, also does any of the actual time spent count towards anything, such as an impression for example? These are good. I'm still reeling in to figure out why, on Nov 4th I had 0 views the entire day and subsequent view totals changed, even hours watched dropped - was that a glitch, a glitch or a transforming way views and hours are calculated? My views were climbing every day and suddenly since these 'longer shorts, ' my whole algorithm has been affected, eeek. Still have long shorts sitting as videos so I've stepped aside from making shorts for a while. In it for the long game!
