Oh the memories of hearing this song in the theaters! I got the privilege to have met the man who did all the bird calls and exotic sounds. He was also the conga, bongo, and Chimes, Ayer in the band. Augie Colon is his name. He passed in the late 80's. Our family knew him very well. Great man with an illustrious career. His son Lopaka Colon ( eldest) now takes after him.
