My grandma used a box grater to make the texture on the outside of her tordidi. ❤

Thanks for sharing your recipe ladies. I just made them and it was easier that I thought they would be. I made mine a little on the thicker side, so next time I will make them thinner (as I do prefer mine thinner). I am more of a fennel seed person, so used those instead. Will definitely make them again 🙂

I'm glad you tried them, and yes, they are pretty easy to make. Thanks for your comment, we like to hear when viewers try the recipes.

@@simplydelishduo4020 I will definitely be trying more of your recipes. I am not sure what part of Italy your family is from, but so much of this looks so familiar to me and reminds me of my Nonna and Auntie's cooking. My dad and his family were from a small town in Calabria (now living in Australia). Love your videos and how you make it easy for people at home to do it ❤❤
@simplydelishduo40209 күн бұрын
Awww, Josie thank you so much for your kind words. My parents were born and raised near a small town in Calabria as well (near the city of Cosenza) and moved to Canada after they married.

@@simplydelishduo4020 Ahh that is why the food seems familiar to me. Looks like we are less than couple of hours further down. My dad's and his family were from a small village called Sinopoli in Reggio Calabria. Sadly my Nonna and Aunty are no longer with us, so it's nice to keep the tradition of our wonderful cuisine going 😍
