@@drums34 these speedruns are done in "Players X" which allows me to change the players setting freely from 1-8, I went down to 1 at this point because I was about to get up to Mephisto

It was most likely because I was killing her on a higher players setting for most of them, this impacts her runedrops (makes her drop less)

This speedrun specifically is not that hard compared to the others, but in general it's hard to achieve times like this without practice

Most of those levels (besides Catacombs and Arcane Sanctuary) have pre-defined directional rules from the moment you enter, which help you make logical predictions for the exits. Catacombs 2 can be known if you find the waypoint. You can know these if you go to maxroll and lookup their map-reading guide. As for resistances, you don't really need them that badly in normal difficulty - maybe some fire for Chaos Sanctuary and that's about it

@@Kano_AU That's what I'm talking about, the Sanctuaries of Chaos. Playing as a mortal barbarian, Frenzy needs Ral Ort runes and Zeal paladin, Amazon with a dart (jab or charged strike), needs Ral Ort Tal runes to survive fighting against Diablo. so where do speedrunners get 50+ resistances to fire and lightning? how do I get them quickly?

Mostly just focusing on the earliest you can get the staffmods, for Blessed Hammer I think Level 19 (or 15 for the imbue, because imbue = character level + 4) It only matters if you want +1/+2/+3 to a tree and stuff like that, which I'm not 100% sure on those levels off by heart

Limited number of points, you need to have a higher conviction level than Meph for this to work also Max Smite, Holy Shield and Fanaticism is already ~65 points and we only really hit level 70ish

Could probably drop some from smite as long as you have some crushing blow. 🤔

@@djdizzyd4556 you can also use the players setting on console too, you know that right? Just takes a bit longer because you have to menu it all, but that's just console in general

Tombs and Tower are usually the most guilty for this (same goes for Matron's Den, Crypt and Mausoleum)
