It is time to get right with Jesus. You aren’t going to automatically enter into heaven if you have lied or stolen or had premarital sex. Even one of those makes you worthy of hell fire. Don’t deceive yourself! The punishment of sin is hell fire. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of a future sin when we confess and forsake it. When you start to follow him you have to strive to obey what he commands. No one will enter heaven without the blood of Jesus. No other way but through Jesus!.!.!

Is there a difference between using two bass drums and two pedals vs using a double bass on one bass drum
@michaelcm9283
@michaelcm9283 2 жыл бұрын
yeah. a little difference. while you use double pedal on one bass drum, slave pedal ( left pedal ) is not as free as Left pedal ( while using two Single Pedals ) bcoz Pedal Driveshaft make a little to lost your left foot pedal's momentum and energy. thats my thougt. I prefer two Single pedals than using Double Pedal.
@alexanderdavlin
@alexanderdavlin 2 жыл бұрын
to expand on what Michael CM said, The slave pedal is not always as free because of the drive shaft. You can fix this problem by upgrading your pedal with a Trick or ACD Unlimited drive shaft, both of those shafts have no latency and are the best shafts on the market. Some double pedals can also convert from double to 2 singles, the trick pro1-v bigfoot, pearl demon drive, and a few others can do this.

Gotta get your drum heads "coffee-table-tight" in order to utilize less exaggerated motion. At one point, it doesn't make sense to use traditional real bass drums.

This is the best video I have seen on heel-toe. Nice job teaching and playing! 👍 I know a lot of double-kick drummers are using longboard pedals now, but they are a bit hard to get used to for me. Pedal thoughts?
@michaelcm9283
@michaelcm9283 2 жыл бұрын
nope. you can do Swivel or Heel Toe with Short Boart Pedals. I seen a lot of guys doing fast double Strokes with Short Board Pedals ( Axis Shortboard, Pearl Shortboard or whatever $50, $100 Double pedal ) you only need to do suitable pedal setting and daily practice routime to catch your goal.

you need to do beater angle at least 45 degree and lower. ( mine is i think 30degree ) beater height is nearly 1 feet from the Ground. spring tension is maximum. footboard plate height is 5 inches.

@@Beans_978 I think you can play any technique on any Pedal. the only thing you need to do is.. 1- suitable pedal setting for your chosen techniq ( Different Tech needs different pedal setting. I think ) 2- you need to practice at least 2 hours per day to achieve your goal. ( I practiced nearly 1 year to can play Heel Toe like that ) The most important object is just your body, not expensive pedals.

Sounds really great, but this is the drawback of heel-toe: it depends like 50% on the tightness of the drum head. I have only practice pads and they don't have this crazy rebound, so it is way more difficult to achieve high speeds on them

yeah. Heel Toe Depend on tightness of Skin, coz it needs powerful second strokes for long Double Bass Bars. but you can practice Heel Toe on washing foam practice pad, at night I always practice like that for 90% silence practicing ( Marthyn Joaovic uploaded a video about practicing on Washing Foam Bass Drum Practice pad )

@Killenmachine05

@@michaelcm9283 this is honestly also a huge part of where triggering comes into play, tune your batter heads for the tension you need, then use a kick sample to get the sound you want.

Just depends on how you move your feet. This 'heel toe" method in this video looks more like pressure-bouncing, or drags. I'd have to see it start at like 80bpm 16th notes and work it's way up. I do heeltoe with a full -actual- heel stomp and toe roll-off and it's pretty damn loud, because the beaters are heavy as well (tama iron cobra). I could use lighter beaters, adjust the beater angle some, and get everything all close in - tighten the fuck out of hte bassdrum head, and then pressure-bounce the beater twice, but then (like in this thread describes) you have to use a trigger. if I were truly just going to do drags & trigger stuff, I'd use one of those huge alesis mesh-head elec bassdrums cuz that's like throwing a bowling ball into a trampoline
