the only thing I didn't like about the reboots is that in the original show cliff ended the Barnes ewing fued but they ignored that in the reboot whoever made the reboot really messed around with the shows history.

The script of this goes downward very rapidly at the end. 'Dynasty' didn't come along to replace 'Dallas'... it was a copycat show that was a rival, but which ended first. And despite its quiet goodbye, 'Dallas' is still, relatively speaking, the most successful television show of all time. Arguably also the best.
