I wonder, if you carry tap water with those one-time-use containers? Better containers are inexpensive. If you buy the water, it makes no sense in Finland. Tap water is commonly good quality (even better than bottled water) and small amount of tap water is usually free-of-charge (supermarket lobbys, gas stations etc.).

you fold all that what goes over the edge, just cut triangle in the corner. same goes with the tiles too, you just cut it different way so you can fold it over itself to make a waterproof corner.

No biggy, lol. But unscrew all fittings. Use the teflon tape on the threads of all male ends. This wil ensure you not sucking air on inlet, and wont leak any water from outlet side. Making good progress and moving up in the world! Lol. All the best, be safe..

remember triangles are the strongest shapes, just add small 1 foot pieces in the corners and it will add a lot of support

Ideally you need a water tank to fill with the pump having the tank above in the trees and always have running water without using the pump continuously

That looks like plumbers tape - use between the connectors. Wrap it round the connector on the pump then attach the other connector and it should seal up nice and tight

You likely already have a plan, but what I'm seeing is you could extend that floor to the door. Then using that gap( or under the out house) install a drain, water proof the wood. Then you'd have a outhouse ready to add a shower to! Looks great!

You don't really need another longer hose for the shower. Just put a t-joint for the sink and continue the hose to the shower, like 10m hose is enough. You most likely never use the sink and the shower at the same time, so no need to have to lines of water

I know that the population of wild boar is quite small in Finland, but if you have any in that region, they will probably find their way to your outhouse now. They love the smell of tar 😂

Just an idea, get a water tank maybe 5000l then build a raised platform and put it there ,pump water to the tank then it flows with gravity to shower and the cabin.

The Teflon tape you use for the threads on the different pipe fittings (connectors). Take the fittings apart apply the tape. The Teflon tape goes on a certain way. Reassemble the fittings for the suction and discharge of the pump. Reassemble and tighten the fittings starting at the pump working your way out. Don’t over tighten. You’re doing great! Keep on Truckin! A suggestion if you’re doing mechanical things watch a video and have it handy when doing the work.

The one thing I didn’t see next to the teflon tape stuff (yes, unthread the things, put the tape on the same direction it will be threaded in) was actually priming the pump. You could also just take the transparent pipe into the lake, put your palm on the end, take it to the pump and quickly connecting, so the pump doesn’t have to pull all that air out of the pipe. You could also fill the filter and motor from the lake first. But start with putting the teflon tape inside the threads, so the pump has a chace to get rid of the air. As others put it too, boiled linseed without the tar should be nice for the inside to protect the wood. Might have worked outside too, but I’m sure the pine tar will make the wood much more resistant to the elements. And you HAVE done quite a lot! Most of us just sit in front of the TV or phone and watch you 😅😅

Longer term it would be much more efficient to use solid plastic hose for the water run to the tent, the flexible hose will kink and become brittle over time forcing the pump to work harder uphill. Love the videos, keep up the amazing work.

about the tape that's not how you have to use it. it is called thread seal which is the white tape and you have to put it in middle of the threads where the male port and female port meet so it makes an airtight seal and a good tight connection so the pressure builds. hope this helps and good luck
