Histrocially musky anglers had a niche in the industry as the "hardcores".... days without fish was the part that banded everyone together, but now anyone with livescope can be a top 1% of musky anglers without much prior knowledge. It is just the product of a society built on instant gratification. My only hope is that these scopers will get tired of catching fish when there is no longer a challenge and move on to exploit another species.

It's a fantastic bait, but just be sure to not overwork it. It really shines with subtle twitches of the rod tip.

The swiss army knife of boats, you said it buddy. Thats whats got me so intrigued about this model. Id love to have an enclosure for wintertime Lousiana speck trolling.

There's really not much you can't do in a multi-species deep-v. With time, I plan on adding all kinds of bells and whistles to my Targa. Problem is, I need to work more to afford all this stuff. What a conundrum.

How many fish have you been able to catch on one bait ? Seems like they would get ripped apart.
@AnglingUploaded25 күн бұрын
They’re actually tougher than they appear. The action doesn’t so much come from the softness of the plastic, but from how thin the Panorama is. The plastic is surprisingly durable, like a typical soft bait. You get about three fish before the Panorama is toast.

So I was given these swordtails. But we don't ice fish here in Tennessee. Can I use these anytime in lake or river? Still don't know what the smell is that they have.
@AnglingUploaded28 күн бұрын
Yep, they can work just as well in open water. Rig them on a little jighead with light line and you’ll be able to catch panfish year-round. In the spring when fish are shallow and on beds is when they’d really shine. That smell you’re picking up is PowerBait and it’s legit. It’ll draw fish in and make them hold onto the bait longer. No joke.
@billbohobo363328 күн бұрын
@@AnglingUploaded ok do I use a 1/64 or 1/32 oz jig head? You're the only video I could find on KZbin for this specific bait. So thank you for your underwater action

Owner of a Lowe 1675 Deep V here. Own it for just over 2 years and it worked great in the Delta. On the other hand, my friend bought a Tracker Pro V Guide 16 and that thing makes me want to STAY AWAY from tracker. Come with broken wire and the live well dont even work. In addition, when you step on the Live well Cover on the tracker you can feel the thing flex. In the Lowe it as solid as steele. Of course I drove both. Lowe ride more stable and have better back wave trail. Tracker ride a bit lighter and have more rock. Tracker back wave trail is all over the place. Lowe have enough space for 3-4 rear batteries and 2 front batteries. Tracker have space for 1 rear batteries and 3-4 front batteries. Lowe have 1 front and 1 rear live well both equally big. Tracker have 1 huge front live well and 1 rear dry/ice well. Overall, I would stay with my Lowe because of the better experience I have with it. One thing I wish the Lowe will do is create a bigger front battery compartment. I want to upgrade to a 36V system because chasing Stripe Bass in Delta can be rough but can not due to lack of space.

I'm looking to get one of these lures and am wondering what type of rod I should use. I have a Medium Heavy casting rod do you think that would be to large of a rod to cast and fish a light bait like that?

All compartments on boats should be sealed and dry, no excuse for what they cost.

Couldn’t agree more. I’d love to know what these manufacturers are making on profit for each boat. Hard for me to believe that for $44,000 they couldn’t get the quality control dialed in better. You never see issues in automobiles like you do in boats of the same price.

Oh man, I am the worst about falling into that trap. A cloudy drizzly day is sure to fill me with power fishing confidence, but that almost always results in me having a really tough day. I find that I really struggle on those days because it feels wrong to slow down and finesse them
@AnglingUploaded2 ай бұрын
It’s probably a good general rule to start out fishing more aggressively on overcast days, but it’s definitely not a given that the fish will be biting. The trick is determining when to abandon ship and do something different. I think after a couple hours of relative disinterest from the fish is when to pull the plug. Maybe even an hour and a half. So many variables, though.

This is one of the baits that I hope gets ripped off and made in tpe. The price of these are a scam and you get 1 MAYBE 2 fish per bait before you need to swap it out and set it aside to repair to get your money's worth

I don't like it! With a build quality and tech of a late 80's and early 90's domestic economy car, and costing over 55000$ dollars, there is nothing about his boat that is Porche-like. I don't even believe the name when I hear it.

One of the worst parts of live scope is missing all the scenery while fishing. Catching fish is fun and all but there is much more to fishing than just fish. Sometimes you're so deep into the forward facing sonar you have to look up to see where you even are. Going outside to play with a computer all day defeats the purpose of going outside. I have a great live scope set up and I often consider selling it because it honestly changes the whole experience. Also feels dirty holding a nice fish for a picture or video and the live scope is there. Everyone is free to do what they like and I'm not talking down to the live scope guys but for me it's just not the same.

Not trying to be preachy, but you should be pinching the barbs on your hooks. Gives the fish a much better chance at shaking the bait when you get bit off. I've noticed zero difference in landing percentage with barbless hooks. The Mississippi has been tough for me this August. Hope your luck's been better!
@AnglingUploaded2 ай бұрын
I appreciate the comment, dude. I respect that you use barbless hooks, I really do. I may consider it. It seems the older I get, the more I think about these things, for some reason.
