Pete- I'm 98% sure you held the door for me leaving the JI concert on Sunday. I'm 100% sure it didn't register why you looked familiar until it was too late. Missed opportunity to shake your hand and say thanks for great content like this!

Just watched it. Amazing and worth the wait (as usual). Your "show don't tell" approach really resonates with me. My only criticism is that the Cha-Ka hat wasn't in play this year!!! Great job.

great video! Watching this has made me add the BW to my list of place to hit this year! Looks like a great time!

Thats the idea! We need people to see this place. Hard to explain unless you experience it.

Hit the number chain to insula last week of August. Awesome seeing familiar sites on your video.

Yikes! That place will lock you down. A couple of spots on the south side saved us.

Great trip! We went to Thomas lake. Week of Labor Day. Quality of walleye was unbelievable and no skeeters. June does look tempting though

Man i wanted to get up there so bad. I heard its beaitiful. I don't think we ever fully recovered from the trip in. On my to do list!

@@AnglingUploaded we went in through snowbank. Took off between 7-8am made it to the north campsite on Thomas by 4. It was a haul though. We aren’t the lightest packers lol

@@whitehondarider22 he can do whatever he wants. If he wants to gift someone the gift of potentially having a better trip catching fish that is honorable. He is potentially giving the love of the outdoors to the younger generation like myself. Finally fish move a lot depending on the time of year someone is up there the fishing spot could be no good

I remember Cody! Fishdance was so slow. So odd how 1 portage changes your fortunes. Hope you had a good trip.

@@AnglingUploaded so true. We didn’t have much luck on Fishdance either though we mainly went for the pictographs. We had a great trip! I’ve never had a bad trip to the BWCA. Looking forward to heading back this year.

I'm looking to head to Alice this Spring. some of the members of my group are specifically interested in catching smallies. Last time I was at Alice 4-5 years ago we caught 2-3 nice smallies by the portage to fishdance, but looking other places on the internet, it looks like smallies have only been in Alice 10-15 years. Did you catch most of the Smallies in the video in Alice or in the surrounding lakes? would love to hear your thoughts about how common smallies are in Alice as a whole.
@AnglingUploaded11 күн бұрын
Yeah I thought the numbers were fantastic. Alice prob it's best with walleye but especially the NW bays the numbers and size were fabulous for smallies. Almost anywhere with shallower water and downed timber held them. It's hard for me to comment on any other time of year, but spring this dominated. we regularly found them in walleye spots too..

Hey Matt. Nemo Bugout. They make a 9x9 and 12x12. Not sure if its still in production. Have seen outfitters renting them too..

i bring a lot of aaa and aa batts. radio, fish finders lamps all use them. we dont leave em on. try to chat at the top of the hour. Lithium energizers work great and are much lighter than regular batts..
