Boundary Waters - Angling in the Wild

In June of 2023, Pete and the gang head back to Alice lake deep within the BWCA, in search of great fishing and quiet wilderness and are not disappointed! Giant walleye, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass are all fair game in one of the most amazing and beautiful places to experience the outdoors in North America - The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Just watched it. Amazing and worth the wait (as usual). Your "show don't tell" approach really resonates with me. My only criticism is that the Cha-Ka hat wasn't in play this year!!! Great job.

Great trip! We went to Thomas lake. Week of Labor Day. Quality of walleye was unbelievable and no skeeters. June does look tempting though

@@AnglingUploaded we went in through snowbank. Took off between 7-8am made it to the north campsite on Thomas by 4. It was a haul though. We aren’t the lightest packers lol

He is potentially giving the love of the outdoors to the younger generation like myself. Finally fish move a lot depending on the time of year someone is up there the fishing spot could be no good

Species dictates but.. Shallow raps for trolling/casting. Jigs tipped with a leech for everything else. Location, location, location.
