Scaler is Great! Here is my wish list. If I think of more I'll post them here. More ambient music chord progressions. Chord names when drag and dropped or exported Lounge piano riffs in performances or Passages Louisiana's Professor Long Hair and Dr. John style chords and riffs

I just started with VSL, but I presume that the know EDIT IMPULSE RESPONSE is now somewhere else. (because the video is 3 years old and in the meantime there where of course some updates of the synchron player)

Can you undo your latest generated chord progression to return to the previous one?

Hi and thanks for your video. What I was wondering: if you have so many tracks loaded with so many instruments (kontakt) can your system cope and doesn’t ik take a long time to load? Kind regards. Herman(Belgium)

I have a question for you. I have no music theory experience up until now I've been using scalar 2 I haven't been using scalar for very long but what I am realizing is that using scalar 2, you are limited in sounds that they offer as well as the progressions. In my situation it's getting to where everything I try to create is sounding the same there is no difference in the progression. I'm currently in a standstill right now because I realize that I need some kind of a music theory tool and I heard about WA productions insta composer and was wondering if you recommend insta composer for someone like me? I want something that will give me different chord progressions or provide different ideas of different progressions in different key signatures. Scalar 2 does not give you different chord progressions it's just all repeat the same eight.

Wish i could open my own instruments inside scaler so i don’t have to select two tracks in my daw everytime i want to play something .

!AWESOME TUTORIAL! Great for us NEWBIES. I bought Ver 4.7... In this ver. the recorded Instrument Samples are no longer under the Phr. Tab, but inder de Fil. Tab under Factory Phrases - Examples. But although each Instrument category appears with their corresponding Instrument Name; when I try to load them onto a track, nothing happens and I get a pop up window saying "Invalid or Empty Midi File". Does anyone know why Am I getting this, or what do I need to do to generate these Files? THANKS!

In 2024: 1. better Modulation to other keys integration. 2. Modal Interchange Integration in the suggest modus. 3. Harmoniesation of Melodies. Maybe AI could do a good job.

When I copied the midi event to the next chord the midi notes didn’t changed ? Am I missing something? Please some help 🙂
@brianmi405 ай бұрын
With so much harmony going on, and all on the same instrument (piano), would have been good to turn down the chords (or drop them an octave) to make the melody stand out. A comparison between Rapid Composer full, and lite would be good. It's hard to imagine what the differences truly are functionally since their Web simply mentions a bunch of functions and which are only in the full edition, without any understanding of what any of that all does, and what the others add.

Is it possible to drag MIDI regions From your DAW directly into reMIDI? Will they include all controller data?
@41Fingers6 ай бұрын
Yes you can drag in midi from your daw. Currently I don't think the controller data is read by remidi which is a real shame. I have left comments on the developers channel letting them know how important and powerful that ability would be for creators. One way around that is to use remidi as the controller for a vst which has built in envelops for the mod wheel such as the orchestra 3.
@AaronDuckFish6 ай бұрын
@@41Fingers another thing I was wondering. In the main window reMIDI 3 shows only 16 pads. It seems reMIDI 2 had more. Or is there a way to reveal more?
@41Fingers6 ай бұрын
@@AaronDuckFish I believe the dev will address that number of pads in a promised update

I’d love to see a fretboard step sequencer were you selected the tuning of the fret board and can create riffs and learn it on your own instrument also. When you select chords you can drag it along the time line and view the chords on the fret board and in the step sequencer you could view also scale notes to add licks etc Also just a step sequencer in general that you can select to play chord and or scale notes

Sorry but the BIAB VST plugin just doesn't work, I followed every step to the T, the only thing inside that plugin that can be changed is entering the chord sequences, and that's it, the tempo, signature, and even adding a real track just doesn't work, nothing can be added or changed, and I have both VST2 and VST3 plugins, and neither of them work inside a DAW. What I do, is to use BIAB to create a song, then click the DAW mode, which shrinks the UI then open a DAW, and create a new project, set the DAW to the same tempo as BIAB, then drag and drop each instrument track from BIAB to the DAW, THAT! is the ONLY way it will work, but using BIAB as a VST it WILL NOT work.

Hey Fingers! I bought the RC thanks to your good explanation. I'm a total newbie and it certainly would have taken me a long time and I certainly would have stumbled a lot with the possibilities. Perhaps only after discovering things that were now discussed here. I and many others, I think, have received a huge boost from these sessions, and I am very grateful for that!

After some struggling with the demo version, I ended up here and discovered the best explanation and teacher to master this wonderful program. I immediately subscribed and am already looking forward to other courses in this domain. I also purchased Insta Composer and Scaler, but this program seems to me to be the most professional tool for generating music and developing ideas. I would like to conclude by thanking you for making this excellent program accessible to a beginner. 👌👌👍👍👍👍
