Great interview. Love Jo 😊 Frankie Boyle is not funny; goes too far. If he’s on tv I turn over.

❤ Bill Oddie

Remember watching Bill Oddie on Pebble Mill. There is a clip on here if you look for it. He was probably the first person to add a camera 📷 to see what was happening in the nests. 1980s.

If you want to know about him, watch him on Who Do You Think You Are. His mother was ill when he was a young boy. Have met him a few times. He has his good days and bad days.

I went to see Bill Oddie after the first series of Springwatch aired and he sat on the stage during the interval speaking to the audience one by one, asking for suggestions of what they could show next on Springwatch/ Autumnwatch. He sat on the stage crossed legged. He was interested in talking to us. And then he went off for bathroom break before coming back on stage. He was truly amazing to listen to and to speak too.

I so agree with Bill, especially about cooking programs, too many of them.Kate Humble is a presenter not a naturalist and she has a big ego.

Bill is a force of nature and a great spirit &c but he is not corporation man, not a cypher or acolyte - hence his repudiation by the BBC who are more comfortable with ... certain individuals it would be libellous to list here (I have a list of about 50)

My goodness Springwatch is so so different now. I wish, so much, that they'd bring Bill back for a series. Springwatch is so damn insipid at the moment, in my opinion

She hates names based on locations yet she called her child India she hates the name apple yet she called her child's name Poppy. She says peoples face looks funny yet she has a big nose fact. She hates people with tattoos yet has one herself. She's a hipocrite.

He makes no reference to his Birmingham upbringing as a child and going to a prestigious Birmingham Grammar school ( King Edwards Five ways, cricket team captain ) and does not explain why he speaks with a quasi northern accent ( yes, born in grubby Rochdale, but brought to Brum before he could even talk) this bloke is a FAKE.

Quite surprising to hear Ian Hislop repeating the classic old chestnut of conflating religion and morality. Where do people get the idea that one cannot be a moral aetheist? It's a senseless proposition, and really quire annoying!

He's a mildly funny, centre-left journalist/comedian. However, he should take back his stance on Nigel Farage who has provided countless solutions in how to run the country properly and what the Tories are doing wrong. The problem is, most lefties don't bother listening to Farage because they have a preconceived notion of what they think he is, and most journalists like Hislop prefer to shout and smear from the sidelines whilst making money out of it.
