When I was a kid my sister and I would pull all sorts of tricks to get to stay up in order to watch the Goodies, so Imagine my disgust to hear this pig dog spouting leftist tripe and bad mouthing his country. And it is also no surprise to know he was the Andrew Ridgley of the Goodies the talent less one that Tim and Graham left behind. Now I do not know both of their political and social views, but if they are akin to Oddie then I would call them out the same. As for Oddie's integrity, well fuck me talking globalist SJW shit in this climate is hardly swimming against the current is it? It is like working for Pizzahut and proclaiming you like cheese. Shit knows what the lefty BBC was worried he might come out with unless he is a pedo and it was his pizzle they were worried he might get out, cos sure as shit it would not be his political views.

I went to see Bill Oddie after the first series of Springwatch aired and he sat on the stage during the interval speaking to the audience one by one, asking for suggestions of what they could show next on Springwatch/ Autumnwatch. He sat on the stage crossed legged. He was interested in talking to us. And then he went off for bathroom break before coming back on stage. He was truly amazing to listen to and to speak too.

I could listen to Bill all day - an inspiration to all on birds & wildlife. But here's a suggestion for him (and others) - shift our farming methods from Dairy & Livestock to Crops for Human Consumption. End Dairy / beef farming, and you end Bovine TB. Much better for the environment, and much more efficient use of resources.

A hugely talented and accomplished man who been entertaining, in a big way, since the early 60s. A great writer of comedy, as well as a much loved performer. He's had a tough life with more than his fair share of personal tragedy. His openness and love of nature should be applauded, though many can't see beyond his mental illness....

I have loved this man since the 70’s when we got the Goodies on our valve driven black and white telly. But I would rather watch other people cook than other people play sport any day. Not going to fight anyone about it. I’d love to brew him a pot of tea and bake the chap a batch of scones (oh it is scohnes is it?) and have a good yack with him.
