I doubt they will, given its uptime. The point of it is to punish training the mage without some counterplay. Normal barrier provides stronger damage mitigation, so there is a trade there for whoever picks the new one

The copium that we get buffed on our actual single target spells cause ring of fire got nerfed is real haha

Eh it’s how these things usually go. They often take damage from an overperforming source and move it into other sources
