I used to love going into Liberty's when I lived in London, many moons ago. You're so right about the staff. On a trip with a friend from here with our daughters, they asked the girls on the beauty counters for a makeover. They sat them down, laid out their brushes and applied clear lip gloss, brushed their eyelids (with no shadow on😅), and brushed their cheeks (with nothing), using larger brushes. They finished with tiny dabs of real perfume on their wrists. Our girls were 8 and 6 years old and they LOVED it! Thanks for the upload, brought back some great memories. Shopping at liberty is more up my street than Harrods, but wouldn’t say no to either. Cheers.

I love the experience of shopping in a luxury store. But I would be interested what you can find in a shop like Homesense that is similar. I think if you take a picture of the items you like, you can do an internet search to find similar items. That would be a fun video. But Liberty is definitely an experience. May I make a suggestion or perhaps a challenge - which would be to not use the word 'nice' as a descriptive. It's a bland almost non descriptive word. I always think of it as a meaning just above par or satisfactory, and it says nothing about the items you are showing. I mean this in the best possible way as a little helpful constructive criticism. I love all your designs and think you are both loveliest of people on screen. ❤

Apologies for asking about a building question not the decorating... I've never seen doors hung with three hinges but they're not equally spaced. Is this 2 near the top of the door hinges, unique to this builder? or a new trend in the UK? I don't think I've ever seen this here in the US nor have I ever noticed it before in a UK property. BTW, The room looks gorgeous! Thanks for bringing us along.

I love your apt Toby. You have excellent taste also, you’re looking really cute. I think it’s because you’re not stressed or having anxiety. I have to tell you though being an artist I want to run around your home and put up bright paintings in pink purple, yellow and red. I’m a little mad that way if I see plain walls, I go insane, there are people that are minimalist I am a maximalist. I love what you’re doing to your new apartment. I hope you don’t mind my saying that you don’t look stressed it’s just that you’re so good-looking. You’re so confident you’re so successful. You’re so young I know people were like what does he have to be stressed about that I was like that myself when I was your age, I was living in Hollywood trying to be an actor people tell me you’re good looking all your talented and I would be going through depression and trying to deal with life. Great job Toby. Interior design is constantly changing and evolving as are we so enjoy it. Loved the cornice kinda makes the curtains look more custom. You literally can do no wrong. That’s the fun part later on to edit and add to it. Thank you

Lovely paint color and awesome transformation! I especially like the tonal atmosphere you created. I got two extra large Carrara marble cutting boards from Next and used them as bedside table tops until I find the perfect marble top for my room. I’d perhaps add a faux frame for the beautiful tapestry with command strips and paint a tad darker than the wall color. I’d probably get some linen fabric in a very similar color to the walls with subtle navy blue stripes (to echo that in the tapestry) and use as pleated curtains for the wardrobe doors, using adhesive ironing fabric tape, elastic bands and small and thin push pins on each side. Keep the good work! Looking forward to more transformations!
