Good day ! I'm a new subscriber here and was really fascinated with your review on this cheap ZP1007 to the extent that I ordered one already and has followed your free mods. May I just ask if the electronics in this model can accept without issues a 7.4V 2S 25c Lipo battery. More power to your wonderful channel.

Great light upgrade. Just ordered this Unimog(in yellow-tan color) and already building up an assortment of mods/upgrade parts. This will definitely be one of the very first improvements. Thank you for posting mods for this particular P06 Uni as it encourages those of us that want to do more with ours to make them better!

LED headlights: Paint the back of the LEDs silver first ! Then all that wasted light will be reflected forwards, not absorbed ! Tyres: Can the glue be removed for tyre replacement ?

Hi. Good tip! If you use small spots of glue it's not a problem removing the tyres. Just pull them off and use a knife to remove any remaining. 😎👍

ive had these portal axles on my 34 for almost 2 years now and the only issue i have is the steering link. because its just plastic it will eventually bend and not steer right. highly reccommend a link made of stronger plastic or jut go metal. otherwise i love these portal axles

Hi. You would need to swap out all the electrics if swapping the esc as it uses 5 wire servo instead of 3 wire. Hobbywing 1060 is always good

Things cool but the driveshafts absolutely suck The joint broke on my second day. Upgraded some alloy drive shafts in it and it’s good to go.

All these rebrand companies use henglong internals, the TK electronics are decent compared to the old ones, but if you want to perform better you'll probably need to invest in better boards and gearboxes

I agree on the battery placement. TD could do better if they have an accessible hatch for easy battery charging.

How do you rate the gearbox to a wpl 2speed? Also are the axles same size as wpl axles? If they are that would be great for my franken mn99

Hi. Yep the axles are the same size; I used wpl axle trusses to do my multi-link sus mod to the P06 Unimog. So far the gearbox has been good, but it's not a direct fit to wpl or MN models. Would need a lot of mods.

Brand new to the rc world as of yesterday! I was actually pretty happy that I would be able to upgrade this over time. I hope you make an upgrade video at some point. Most of the vids out there either have zero context as to what mods have been done or they used some no name parts that don't work well at all. It would be great to find a good source for good parts. Have some oil shocks coming in today so hopefully they work, the set I ordered when I bought the truck just leaked all the oil out! Looking forward to getting some good suspension going, some softer tires fitted and then I can paint it!
