Great review! A big benefit of this kit, for me anyway, is that it doesn't require any power tools. Would heat be a problem when doing this? Would it be ok to do this outside in summer, or would a garage be preferable?

Why didn't you just plainly wash the vehicle. To me using all those other products Cheats on the true results. IMHO Tkz!

Right up there with 3D GLW Ceramic Detailer and Griot’s 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax. These three are my go-to’s for everything.

I applied it wrong then, if you use a foam cannon and mitt it, if you don’t hit it in time it leaves marks on your car where the ceramic beaded.

You're supposed to give it an hour or two drying time in between coats.

Pro tip: whenever you use any type of brake cleaner or wheel cleaner never follow-up with soap after spraying the surface. Allow the product to dwell for about a minute or in your case like 45 seconds because you're in the sun and then use your brushes to further the product and then comeback with the foam to stop the cleaner from continuing to clean and eat away at any protective coatings you may have.

I use a tire shine apllicator pad, i like it. Probably the only other tire shine I use other than gtechniq.

I have this product, it smells tereible, an the fumes burn the eyes.

i used Amplify yesterday for the first time, to replace bead maker.. wow is it slick, and the car looks wet, even the day after (reason why im replacing bead maker). Amplify is the only product i have tried from ADS. I recently also got into rinseless, and like doing a hybrid, a pre-rinse before the rinseless.. anyways, i only tried ONR, Absolute, Koch Chemie RRW, and DIY Detail, i prefer the DIY over the others, but currently waiting on ADS Hero to show up, and i cant wait to try it thanks to the impression Amplify had on me.

This review is legit. If water beading is indicator of the performance of the wax there was no beading occurring after 5 months (I applied the wax in November 2023 on a Honda Civic and a Tesla Y and by April 2024 there was zero beading occurring). In prior years I had used Collinite 845 and 476s and there was still water beading occurring after 5 months.

You search for easy spray and tinse product? It's Autoglym Polar Seal. It's spray using foam cannon and rinse. Way fast faster than this. Durability, glosd and hydro are awesome. And you can't do any mistakes. No streaks either! 😀

We did the lights on our 2005 Honda Element yesterday. The Step 1 pads never turned yellow? They did come out better overall, but not as good as I'd hoped. Maybe we didn't sand them enough. Not sure. Anyway, appreciate the video! Thanks

Problem is some pressure washers aren’t suppose to run on a 1.1 orifice. It’s bad for the pump/motor. Like the active 2.0. More gpm will help with foam and also more soap in the mixture. Not just the orifice.

I found that a Rigid box type shop vacuum had much more suction power. I used a spray bottle (with pump) to apply the cleaner and then used a suction tool adapted to the shop vacuum. This little Bissell machine looks like a very nice unit though

I found that a small shop vacuum like a Rigid with a suction tool at the end does a better job. It has so much more suction power than these integrated carpet cleaners.

How long does it last?

Did Speed and barrier revive Fusso coat on the more weathered areas? Im in Vancouver BC too and found Meguiars ultimate quik wax on the common touch points for the slickness like doors, handles, gas cap etc but Sonax BSD if i didnt care about slickness on the rest of the car.

Been using this for a few months now. Done a couple applications even though the 1st was still working perfectly and the water still beads up beautifully even after a few months. It makes washing and getting dirt and bugs off so much easier also! Paint looks pretty wet for a simple spray wax. That’s applying it to cars that are 10+ years old!
