What is your favourite tire and wheel cleaner currently?
@RCdetails2039 ай бұрын
Ethos total wheel & tire is my current favorite and I usually pre spray ethos wheel cleaner + especially on barrels and calipers and let it sit for a few min then I either foam on Total diluted 1:1 or 2:1 or spray it out the bottle straight depending on what mood I’m in…Total does a pretty good job on the tires too…haven’t tried ADS wheel cleaner but I do have the tire cleaner RTU only used it once so far and it did great…ADS tire + is a great dressing I’ve been using it the past few weeks def gonna order more when it’s gone…Amplify by ADS is 1 of the best drying aids I’ve ever used…I also have their shampoo +, decon soap, & iron remover (smells like rotten eggs 1 of the worst smelling iron removers I’ve tried) all around great brand

Thanks for the great overview and review. I was wondering about how it compares to Gyeon and MWC because of exactly what you mention about pricing in Canada and those are established brands and reputation. I think I will go ahead and try it once I am done with the Gyeon products I have.

You’re welcome! I will be comparing all 3 in the same video once a vehicle with some caked on brake dust comes my way. MWC is hard to beat so it will be interesting to see how it stacks up

So far so good with this company’s products. I haven’t done a video yet but the car wash soap and Amply detail spray are both amazing products too (especially Amplify)

my favorite wheel & tire combo cleaner is the Meguiars Detailer line Non-Acid wheel & Tire cleaner. but separately, tire cleaner is I guess Gyeon and the same for the Wheel cleaner.

Is the blooming the worst on a new tire that never been cleaned versus one that has accumulated over time? The first time I cleaned mine it took 4 scrubs to get it remotely clean
@TheCarDetailingChannel8 ай бұрын
It shouldn’t make a difference but some tires bloom way more than others depending on the manufacturer.

Thanks for your testing. I checked on the website where I order most chemicals, and it is not listed? Do you know the cost of these products if purchased by the gallon?
@TheCarDetailingChannel9 ай бұрын
$45 for the gallon of the tire cleaner. Dilute up to 1:4. armourdetailsupply.com/collections/all-products/products/tire-cleaner?ref=5bfmnz4d&variant=43662321353016

Thanks! Are you considering adding some ADS products to your collection?

According to DIY detail, you DON'T want to remove all the browning from the tire.
