For the most part, I offer grace and empathy. I'm big enough and command enough of a presence that most passengers won't try me. The ones that do, I just walk away and advise my colleagues of any potential issues. No out of pocket passenger is worth losing flight benefits. I remind my colleagues of that when working F1 during the briefing.

🌪 I live in base. Tornadoes are rare here in the Northeast 😁. Good thing is that at JFK/LGA, it's pretty easy to get to at any time. Good points on keeping busy during probation and reserve. I tell new hires the same thing. I don't risk much, just show up when called. Too much traffic to just leave, and sometimes KCM is down, or we get randomed, so it isn't worth it to try and come back. Short Call Reserve we have 2:45 to report. Airport StandBy we have 10-15 minutes to be at the gate.

There are two schools in society: those that listen, follow the rules (society) and those that don’t, and surprise, it’s always the ones that fail to follow the rules that seem to be the most surprised when they get called out. That’s why there are rules, so they have only themselves to blame. Mad? So sad! Grow up and take some responsibility for your actions!

The catch is don’t ask me 😂😂😂 She explained it very well but I want to emphasize that if someone lets you use their passes know it’s space available ONLY! That means if seats are available, you’ll get on. Don’t start cursing the gate agent out saying you paid for a seat if you don’t get on 😂 the things I’ve seen.
