Love mine but can't find a comfortable holster for AIWB. Currently using Bravo Concealment and I really like the retention and trigger coverage. Quality holster. just looking for a tad more comfort. It could be that I am not running it correctly. I like the idea of the VNSH but not crazy about the trigger guard and not sure about retention. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Federal ( hst). Winchester both will clog when shot into clothing and ballistic jell , the only shells I have found that won't clog the hollow point is critical duty due to the flex tip it's not the biggest expanding bullet but it is consistent and penatrates perfect

But how long of a delay if you don’t keep one in the chamber,? Like dont it take like a second to cock one in?

I'll never get too cocky. I have a good grip on how stupid I can be, even with the best of intentions and training. There are a million permutations possible. You simply cannot know it all. 1. Other than keeping my pointer up, 2. treat every g*n as if it's loaded, 3. expect kids to get curious and act appropriately, 4. not pointing at anything I don't plan to annihilate, 4. protect myself and my own (everyone is responsible for themselves - possibly excepting children and companion animals who are in deadly danger, 5. don't think I have all the information if there is an altercation, 6. let it's use be the last resort: if that makes me a chickens**t for running out the back door of the grocery store if I hear loud popping noises in the front, oh well (reread cardinal rule #4).

I live in a 10 round max state, so capacity is a non issue. 40 s&w requires fewer rounds on target (lethality according to NIH data). I'm strong enough that the increased perceived recoil is negligent. I've run full courses in various calibers, so with the innovations in powder and projectiles 40 s&w is the way to go ;-)

The RMSc is absolutely the worst optic you could on a G43X, the RMSc is made in the UK, not only does it not hold zero, but it's fragile and will break if dropped, as much as I hate Holosun made in China is much better than the RMSc, what I recommend is the Trijicon RMRcc it's just as tought as the RMR and will hold zero and can be used for duty use!

I carry for personal defense my S&W Classic 19 model 38 Special / .357 magnum revolver, and my S&W Shield Plus Optics 9mm. When do I carry one or the other? It literally depends on my clothing. I love both of them, they are extremely beautiful, they are extremely effective and reliable. I train with them and my life is safe with them. Say what they will, driven by ideological prejudices. Yes, I love my revolver, I do not suffer from Rambo syndrome. I'm not waiting my whole life for a confrontation against 10 guys armed with automatic weapons. In real life, my Classic 19 and my M&P Shield are more than enough. By far.

Conceal my gun ? I Don't Think So bubba . I've been living in the West and carrying for 47 years, and I would never under any circumstance hide my gun like I have done something wrong. I wear mine on my thigh. You see it you decide if you want to proceed with any foolish thoughts or actions. I am a very fast draw and my aim is good. Opinions are like a**holes , everybody has one . The way I carry I don't use much movement at all and I get more done quicker. I appreciate your knowledge and your experience but I do not under any circumstance believe in hiding my gun . Why not carry a purse if you dig where I'm coming from . Why don't you try to tell the military and the police to hide their guns to and see where that gets you.

I have put 3 people on 43x, instructing ccw and basic marksman and gun handling. All had other models of firearms; now, they are right for them. Today, they all have ccw's and cary, with one in the chamber. Works so well for them. i now carry a 43x. Parking my g26 for a while. Also own the 19. Glock guy for 10 years now. Love my 1911's but!!!

I'm ex-FFL Had a P365 XL NIB from Dist. with rust inside barrel. Very Dim Front Sight. ( I still have the pics and you can't see the front sight at all - just the rear ) SIG CS said send them pics and a copy of billing receipt from the Dist supplier. ( Really ) They then said , that they had nothing to compare the brightness too in the pictures. SIG CS Warranty dept. Wanted me to Pay for shipping the Pistol to them, Plus pay them $27 to inspect the sights. My advice is never buy a Sig Sauer product. Thank you for being such a Terrible Customer Service company. If you think not carrying one in the chamber is "safer," that is a lack of training. You need to practice and train until you are comfortable with your carry gun. A gun without a round in the chamber is a paperweight...

Knowledge is power..the more we the people know the more powerful we become...and that's exactly what the government does not want. It's sad that gun owners and enthusiasts get suppressed and shut down to appease the minority of those who want our firearms taken away.

TLDW after you said ballistic gel is a good medium. Tissue is compressible, Ballistic Gel is NOT compressible. JHP are not barrier blind and fail 30% of the time to perform as designed. Humans are generally 2/3rds covered in barrier between clothing and bone. JHP also waste energy on their expansion and don’t penetrate as well as fluted designed bullets which ARE barrier blind and function as designed 95% of the time as they are a solid projectile. Fluted rounds also create larger PERMANENT WOUND CHANNELS (PWC) than JHP. PWC is what matters; human tissue is elastic and much of it will snap back. PWC is the area where the tissue is basically liquified, i.e., it’s permanent damage and not snapping back. JHP don’t perform as well in actual tissue whereas most (not all) fluted bullets address fluid dynamics (Venturi effect) to create the larger PWC. The research is out there on actual tissue, gel is very misleading on damage and only somewhat good at determining penetration depth. And for the “energy” crowd, that doesn’t really come into play specifically for damage until 2600 FPS which is rifle territory. My $0.02. Be safe!
