In the first game, why did they shelter the otter rather than the Scavenger or Stormchaser’s Talent? Was it just a misplay?
@javiervian634728 күн бұрын
The shelter is easly countered by nowhere to run, so the opponent prefer to do to a token avoiding to get back the creature later

Hey Arne I was wondering in an aggro heavy meta (Gruul Prowess/Monored/Boros) if the manabase is too painland-full ? I was having trouble finishing games versus aggro with too low a life total in the late game on ladder. 10-12 painlands hurts in these mu's. As always thanks for the content 😁

Baloth main deck is a strange choice, especially in multiples. Guessing they've played against this deck and other discard decks a few too many times and got tired of it. 😅

It's a meta call as people would say, not a bad card vs mono red either with the life gain anyways

Happy New Year! This deck is pretty popular despite the horrible mana base lol Also annoying to play against but Overlords are pretty decent against it because you play them and they can’t discard them once they’re impending.

Been brewing this a lot. There’s so many options. Tithing blade has felt really good, I tried sheltered x4 and shardmages rescue x3 and I wasn’t thrilled. Idk what I want to do with the deck
@ScottStevenson-BMVS28 күн бұрын
I'm running Deep Cavern Bat over the Hexmage. It provides targeted disruption in addition to the hopeless nightmares and some much needed life gain with all the pain lands.
@xmiiasma399728 күн бұрын
@ I tried visage of dread for targeted hand hate that we can bounce and replay. I don’t think I ever resolved it tho. I like sheltered for the lifeline and removal but I always felt like I had all enchantments in hand or all creatures in hand. I always draw 1 half of the deck, I assume I’m just cursed or need to mulligan more aggressively. But the deck doesn’t draw cards so mulligan basically feels like a loss. I hate this deck.

At 16:00, I believe it was the correct play to put it on the nemesis. I think if he did have a removal spell, he would have definetely played that over siren, so they could only topdeck it.
@PaulRGauthierАй бұрын
You're absolutely right about this list being top-heavy. All the decks I've seen lately drop Dross entirely and run Oni and Fear of Missing Out in the two slot. I don’t have a playset of FOMO, so I tried Immersturm Raider in that slot. He's a tad weaker but also happens to be a demon 😁
@rikytie7011Ай бұрын
Gold content. Really a masterclass indeed. What do you think about urabrask forge? I guess it’s a good side if u expect a lot of dimir and midrange decks in general…
@ArneHuschenbethYTАй бұрын
I think it's fine against Dimir, but not good against Golgari (Archfiend,Glissa,artifact removal). It's really bad against white control decks nowadays (it used to be solid there) cause most of them run Authority, which shuts off Forge completely for just one mana. All in all not a fan of running the card these days.
