Against selesnya CoCo you should always bring norn in. Removing all of their etb effects in a deck that relies on them almost completely is basically an insta scoop for them.

Explo Pioneer Hyped ! Hope you'll do selsnya company. Used to be the kind of deck I started playing with 20 years ago. hvnt played aggressiv white strategy for so long !!! Will give it a shot !

Have you tried the Jund Sac decks with Scavenger's Talent? They are what you describe in the end, clean manabase, cheap interaction plus clear routes to victory: combo with ygra or grind them out the usual rakdos sac way

PS: Black package in general and Zur in particular are very cool, but man, red... Double mana pips in the Overlords are a shame, but I choose then to renounce Black and go Naya (without Incarnation and more Boilerbilges, no companion so better consistency & ¿SB impact?) or Black-less (with Incarnation).

There is no BtL or caryatid in explorer to mirror the Pioneer Niv decks - that said it's too slow against GW and rakdos.

​@@tonybetbadal5017 Really? I thought that all that instant-speed interaction could keep up (plus x3-4 push in SB and so on). Thalia sounds like a big pain, tho. I always felt that when Control suffers Niv shines, but maybe this meta isn't the case.

I was greedy and put in massacre wurm for GW to have a sweeper. I also thought the noxious gearhulk performed in the 6 drop since it cannot be hit by go for the throat

I pray for Wotc to not miss Linvala in Pioneer masters or we (enigmatic gang) are screwed! Also as a 6 cmc creature Noxious Gearhulk is a great card: lifegain+removal (not quite Linvala lifegain tho). I miss the lifegain from Kenrith in the good old Enigmatic Fires meta :) Edit: totally agree about the final comentary: this deck's bane is the manabase (lots of colors, painlands plus taplands). Also it works as a ramp deck: sometimes you draw the wrong half of the deck, and you are dead. Those 2 together add for a LOT of game losses.

Aggro is a pretty rough matchup for this deck unless you get the early interaction going, I am playing a list without enigmatic and am destroying most matchups I see.

There was a Ruric Thar, the Unbowed in the original sideboard: Ruric Thar, the Unbowed {4}{R}{G} Legendary Creature - Ogre Warrior Vigilance, reach Ruric Thar, the Unbowed attacks each combat if able. Whenever a player casts a noncreature spell, Ruric Thar deals 6 damage to that player. 6/6
