It's very mindful to understand that certain losses are just out of your control. Better to just move on and focus on the next match/tournament. Rest up, can't wait to see you compete again!

I don't usually have the time to follow the events closely, but I always try to save some to watch your matches and root for you. It's a shame things didn't go your way this time, but I'm sure you'll bounce back! Looking forward to future videos and seeing you explore other Arena formats.

Was cool seeing you hang with Kai and the team at the testing house on Jim Davis’ video. Rooting for you next time. In retrospect if you could go back and register a new deck would you still register this, or something else?
@ArneHuschenbethYT2 ай бұрын
Same deck, but list would be the one in the video that I would have submitted in hindsight.

It is good to find a guy at your top level of play that not only gives good advice while playing, but shows it. I just got back into Magic after being off three years, so I'm a little rusty, but am currently playing this deck. I am seeing my mistakes I was making now, like immediately dropping my bat turn two on the draw against Golgari. I'll be watching every video from here out! Give me a shout-out on the channel so I can brag at my local shop :-) Edit: Also, when you apologized at the beginning of the video for having a long intro, I especially liked the longer, more in-depth intro explaining things. Please keep doing that!

I LOVE the in depth deck explanations. thats the value of coming to a pro player's channel vs just grabbing a decklist imo

Hey Arne! Will you play Seth Manfield's Golgari Ramp deck, the list he piloted in the semifinals? Would love to hear your thoughts on it and see some gameplay

As someone who’s just trying to move from BO1 to BO3, the commentary is great. Especially around sideboarding as it’s not always clear to me what to board in and out. I’d been trying the Dimir demons deck without a ton of luck. This one looks great though. I do wonder how Foundations will impact meta now that that’s only a couple weeks away

I hope you get over the jet lag soon. As somebody who traveled back and forth between US and Germany for the last two years I can relate. As for Standard, thanks for making this deck popular. I like the list a lot and it has made my climb with RB Sacrifice significantly easier.

i've never seen someone play magic the gathering at such a high level. wow, great job man, you are incredible. playing 4d chess over here thinking 18 moves ahead. not sure how your brain does it, pretty awesome to watch though, keep it up

Hello Arne. Thank you for such a helpful video and the guide as well. I am a big fan of this deck, struggling to play myself however. What are some of the possible changes in the deck with Foundations? And do you have any tips for playing against the new variant of golgari midrange?

Hi arne, i'm sorry to bother with a question not about your deck or a play of yours, but i'm thinking about the mosswood dreadknight since the worlds and the first game just reminded me. I always thought that the right play with the card was to play it like a 3/2 on turn 2 to have a presence on board and to start the beatdown.sure you lose the draw,but ideally,the dread knight can die later,blocked or blocking,so the draw isn't lost. But than i saw marcio carvalho on stream constantly go for the turn 2 draw and now i'm confused.the first opponent did the same, is it because there's anoint with affliction in the meta right now and maybe they are afraid of losing the card?or is just me?
@ArneHuschenbethYT2 ай бұрын
It really depends on the matchup. In a black midrange battle, the extra card matters more than the board presence. If you play against a matchup where you have to pressure the opponent, playing the 3/2 on Turn 2 is correct. It really depends, there is no "right play" with Mosswood.
@stebobibo2 ай бұрын
I'd say it's more often correct as a 3/2 on turn 2. Especially if you are going first and have a turn 3 play in hand. If your hand is loose (maybe flooding out) and your opp isn't aggressive, go for the draw.
@Rayze4dayze2 ай бұрын
Some list cut removal for the drowner did you test with that card?
@ArneHuschenbethYT2 ай бұрын
I did, didn't like it instead of removal. Many creatures have to be killed, stuff like Manifold Mouse, Bat or Emberheart Challenger. I could see it instead of DeepCavern Bat, havent tried that.
@stebobibo2 ай бұрын
It's really good with kaito, so maybe if you are playing more of him. My opp once made good use with that combo, and he had at least 3 kaitos in deck. It also depends on the matchup. Cause if you need to remove the creature, it costs 4 to do it with drowner.

40:00 if they kill the curiousity and block the faerie, they would be in a much better spot, right? denying two extra cards to be drawn...

Absolutely! Arena Championship coming up next month and I am qualified for the first two Pro Tours in 2025.

I feel like one Gix makes sense over the third Slasher. Just too weak vs gruul?
@ArneHuschenbethYT2 ай бұрын
I don't think that is what the deck needs. In a way you already have six "Gix" type cards (4 curiosity 2 kaito)

so this deck is better than "rakdos lizards," "boros auras," and "mono red agro?" i'll give it a shot, the other decks are starting to get boring and stale...
