The video is very accurate. A big part of the problem is that many Peruvians believe that the right time to leave is 10 minutes after they were supposed to be someplace else. Always late and always in a hurry to try to catch up.

You are using the bearing seperator/puller wrong. the center is tapered almost to an edge in the center. you place it at the back of the bearing where it seats against whatever its on. the tapered side faces you the flat side faces whatever the bearing is seated on. there is a slight chamfer on the outer edges of the bearing race. tighten the two sides together with the threaded rod/bolts. the thin edge of the separator will be driven between the race and what its pressed gainst, lifting it, continue tighten and it will be pushed in more... then you can press out the shaft. it will 100 % grip on the outside of the bearing race and you will NEVER damage the cage or any other part of the bearing. you can reseat and remove as many times as you need. I am amazed how often i see this tool used incorrectly.

Some guy that works at a driveline shop nearby where I live said Yukon is garbage. Is that true in your opinion or what’s better than that?
@Tinman2KustomsАй бұрын
@@dannyhu3rta Yukon is probably the most trusted brand name in the automotive market for aftermarket axle parts. I would probably stay away from that driveline shop. I've never once had a problem with any of their products. Some people don't like the prices, so that shop probably can't gouge his customers as much with Yukon, so that's why he doesn't like them.

I have a question. I just began the process of installing Yukon zip lockers in my 2003 Frankenstein Jeep. It has a Dana 60 in the front and a Sterling 10.5 in the rear. When I pulled the carrier out of the Sterling 10.5, I was surprised by the absence of inner axel seals. The Dana 60 front has them and it looks like the Sterling should but I'm not finding anything online that says that it does. My question is, Does or should the Sterling 10.5 have inner axel seals? The Sterling 10.5 is out of a 2005 doner vehicle. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

5:43 "floaters are essentially like washers/spacers for each disk". I will have to disagree with that statement. While the floaters are placed between each disk they are definitely not just washers/spacers. They are a critical part of the power transfer path. They have teeth on the outside of them that mesh with the drum. The friction disk's have teeth on the inside that mesh with the hub. The friction disks and floaters are squeezed together by the pressure plate, transferring the power from the hub to the disks to the floaters to the drum.
