The Jet City one was really muddy and lacked definition right the way across the frequency band. Just not a great speaker/cab, at least in this demo. The HB lacked bass and was too bitey. Its probably due to the mic's, but neither really sounded that great with gain unfortunately. Thanks for doing the demo 👍

ive got a few audio assault amp sims pre amplocker well before it went all amp locker lol use to sometimes every few weeks they would send a special offer usually between 5 and 10 quid and id buy an amp sim lol admiteddly im almost always using neural dsp gojira but thats not because the audio assault sims arnt good i just have all my presets on the gojira vst if im honest lol the bass amp sim they do ex or something i think its called i found pretty good especially when you consider it was a fiver or something ive used that a fair bit when messing about on the bass prety solid tones especially at the prices i dont know if audio assault has gone more upmarket with their prices as its been a good year i think since i last b ought anyting from them but yeah i was always happy with the ones ive bought they have all been pretty good even at a higher price than i paid if im honest also a fan of hte xxx amp as well ive actually got a xxx 4x12 cab behind me if you ever see any pics of my pink stack the head is a 6505+ [was a 1x12 combo that we really badly hacked into a head] hte top cab is a peavey xxx the bottom cab is made by kustom think its a q412 or something was literally the closest pair of 4x12s i could find on fb marketplace ive even still got hte original speakers from the xxx 412 although that stack i usualy have t75 and v30s in x pattern anyway im rambling now lol thanks for another fun video 🙂 i should really sort out sending you some of the random stuff ive got lying about so you can do some videos on if your ever interested ive got a pretty weird collection of stuff lol happy new year and keep it heavy

Excellent review Lee! The only amp 5150 and Dual Recto users sleep on, The fucking Peavey Triple XXX!!!!!!! Proud owner of it and definitely a great modern day Thrash/Death Metal amp! This version is based off the 2nd Model release, mine is the first model and it’s definitely great for Extreme Metal and Classic Rock sounds. - A Proud owner of it.

It has that icy Triple X vibe. I've been playing around with one of Audio Assault's plugins in the past. Not bad at all. I'd still go for the real deal. A friend of mine relieved someone from his Triple X for 400 Euro... the prick! And you touched on Cro-Mags there, did ya? I heard what you did there. That's an auto-like! 🤣

I'm having trouble opening and running this. I keep getting a error message saying "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" I went to the task manager and stopped the running apps, retried it and still the same thing. It keeps saying "are you sure you want to uninstall the app" any advice you could lend me would be greatly appreciated.

Please help! I'm using a NUX DM-200 e-drum kit with Reaper & Ugritone. I can't figure out how to map RIOT DRUMS drums correctly to my NUX DM-200 kit. No one from Ugritone will contact me. I've reached out, and get no response. I have no problem using my e-drum kit with any other drum plugin, and have not had to make any changes or adjustments, just plug & play.

if its any consolation i think my job in life is to literally become the human outtake my fave atm is finally after about 30 takes getting a once through without any major cockups just to suddenly realise just as i click stop that i was recording input 2 and im plugged into input 1 so ive recorded all 3 guitar parts all of them being 3 minutes of silence lol and thats actually one of my more succesful attempts at existing happy new year mate hope your well

Just a thought- a cool celebration of Ugritone not being dead would be to review viewer submissions made using Ugritone drums and give them feedback or comments. Only catch is viewers have to include info or settings on the kits they are using so others can replicate!

Heya mate, do you have a preference where you save your presets when you have the vst loaded, do you save them so they go into C: >documents> VST3 presets >Ugritone>Ugritone Drums ...(or Drums against humanity if using that...) or do you use a selected location from within the plugin interface to set path something like Local Disk C:\\ > Program data> Ugritone> Drums Against Humanity Data > presets > Drums Against Humanity (or simiarly within Ugritone KVLT Drums II Data if using something like KVLT II)? Thanks (just looking to avoid duplicate presets ...) Also in addition mate, I did see in your video on ODSM that your presets were program data> on the virtual interface listed below the location of the sample data, so I guess it's just knowing if saving the vst preset file causes any conflict or now (the one that saves them into the documents folder). Ta
