You should be able to get those sorts of tones, I'm not saying they're might not be better Sims for that style but this one should get you close

Just bought this one for a Nocturnus kind of sound. Heard they were using a Mesa Mark when they recorded "Thresholds". For me, Audio Assault is one of the best developper when it comes to metal amp sim. But I really don't like their IR. Love your oldschool kind of metal. Reminds me old Bolt Thrower.👍👍 Cheers from France

Have to admit I'm a fan of the audio assault stuff, there are plenty of IRs out there have you tried the free ones from Frightbox Recording I did a video on them a little while back Thanks man much appreciated, and I'm a big fan of Bolt Thrower Cheers from Yorkshire 🤘🧙‍♂️🤘

Will Wach your video about IRs. 👍Actually i'm using the York Audio IRs based on a VHT cab. IRs by Resington are really good too.
