I need to get this off my chest because dude this game's ending made me relapse so hard I was literally bed rotting levels of depressed, sleeping all day, not showering and not eating because I could only think about this all day every day. I was coping by reading fanfics of happy endings for the game but it just follows me everywhere. This part is hilarious but I saw the icon for rpgmaker mv on my desktop and I had to get away from my laptop because it reminded me of this game. I can't work on my own rpgmaker game anymore, at least for a while due to my irrational anger and sadness towards this game. It's going to be very awkward explaining how a pixel game made me relapse at my next therapy session lmao

So this entire time, we’re playing as the villain. I hate that it’s the case. To this day, I still remember the feeling I had finding out the plot twist. Finding out that it wasn’t your typical “escape the house from a scary monster!”, no, it was a game where we played as the monster. What a twist indeed.

If you don't read the note saying to let nothing to distract you, you can reach the cat on the right, but if you nod the run will be ruined. The cat drops the act and acts like the demon it truly is.

This ending is the worst. The only good thing about it is that you get to play as Mary. I do wonder though... What would have happened if Mary decided to mercy kill both of them? What would happen if she escaped afterwards?

This is so unsatisfied. Viola might be doom from the start but at least let Ellen ate the consequences of her cruel action. You could have defy the demon cat at the last moment or some shit but instead you torture the only person who want to be your friend in her last moment. There are no happy ends for you 😡

My canonity is that they’re faking it to make Ellen innocent, that’s Ellen’s ghost everywhere in the game.

But in the case the creators were just trying to make people sad, never doubt yourself! Just let it make you stronger, learn something from it!

I was going to this because I got the Memory's Crannies ending but right after I accidently saved on the one I was supposed use to get this true ending so I gave up cause I was not going to do the whole game again. So I decided to watch the ending instead lol

Man it's good seeing this ending again after having this lingering memory on the back of my head for 7 years, it feels nice to finally relieve this feeling of forgetting something. And my gosh it feels great to see this old game again, how old was I when I first saw it again? I don't know all I know is that it was great to finally see Ib and Garry and I will make sure not to forget this gold of a game again.

This was actually the game that make me not play games that had no happy end it's so so cruel,unsatisfying and it literally pissed me off that Ellen got away with it all so after this game I really research a game I'm going to play if it has a good ending cause god I don't want to feel Sadness and Anger at the same time again holy shit

Secret ending; don't leave the flower garden at the start of the game. Wait there without entering the house for one real life hour. The moment the hour passes, the wall of flowers dies and you can leave without ever having to enter the mansion. Like she said in the diary, she sawed her legs off and tore out her eyes before she swapped bodies, her body is bleeding to death even if the magic is sustaining her life. Wait an hour and she dies from the injuries without being able to do anything to "Viola", the flower wall dying with her.
