Rolling people is named based on lyrics from another Aphrodite's Child song called Altamont, it is not a secret that The Verve were influenced by Aphrodite's Child.

I got the album 666is as a gift in 1973. I wasn't convinced. Meanwhile I know Vangelis is on the same Level as Pink Floyd. No-one is above of them

Being 71 I have lived and experienced music from so many generations I feel my generation has been very lucky my grandparents born in 1890’s introduced me to old folk and music hall songs and old traditional balladsMy parents born in the 1900’s and 1920’s lived and fought through the war with the old crooners and big bands my mother sang with one in the war years.I have lived through the fifties,sixties ,seventies,from the Beatles the hippies and all the great heavy and rock bands including Jethro Tull and T Rex as well as the contemporary folk of the seventies and loved them all.In the words of a tradition Russian ballad “.
