@@MrJones-yq7wm Ha ha. True though. When I catch a fish a nightcrawler has something to do with it probably 80-90 percent of the time.
@MrJones-yq7wm5 күн бұрын
@@UtahFishingChannel oh you’re definitely right. Night crawlers are THE go to if you are new, or simply can’t get a bite. Best part? Everything bites on nightcrawlers. Little trick, go to your local park where there’s a field when we get rain like we did last night. The worms sense the water and crawl to the surface in order to avoid drowning.

I had been watching these videos and wanted to make sure I could Identify the cutt Throat from the rainbow as I am a rookie fisherman. All the videos I saw and it was said on one of the videos the Cuttthroat all have Red marks on there gills ( I wanted to take a couple home and cook them for dinner (as my grandma use to always cook us trout. Her and grandpa loved to fish and Bach in 70’s and early 80’s they fished a lot.) the Bear lake Cutt throat do have Red gills BUT doing my research I found Strawberry also has the Bonneville cuttthroat do not have the Red gills. Most of the cutthroat you catch will be 15-22 inch and need to be released those Cuttthroat look like a German Brown and you can definitely tell when you catch one they fight harder for sure. The trout you have to be careful and watching the bite so light when fishing with power bait you will miss it but they are fun to catch too. So fun when you see them down in the water and reeling up to you.
