for someone who has been running around with a digicam the last year or so, I agree, these small cameras are social magnets. More or less everyone wants a photo taken and the look of the photos is pretty cool even if its photographically speaking pretty bad thanks to the very high ISO values and the very low max shutter speed.

I wish the Point N Shoot camera would make a comeback. The fun of using a stand alone camera is just so fun!

I used to have a point and shoot, I ended up selling it because I figured I might as well just use my phone. I do believe theres a market for these cameras though, a camera is more than just the photos it takes, the fun factor or enjoyment factor is also a thing, nice video

sigma makes a 18-35mm f/1.8 all internal zoom. for the Canon system, that a lot of Sony user love using on Sony bodies.

Canon zoom has F2 all the way 28-70mm

it’s such a shame the a7cii 1/4000s is the fastest shutter and 1/160 is the fastest flash sync. shooting wide open 1/4000 outside is a problem for me

found my old Sony Cybershot DSC-W800 and recently took it on a trip. takes pretty decent photos, in my opinion.

I took it one step further using an old Olympus point and shoot film camera. That I found in my moms storage. Loved shooting on the streets of Seattle and loved the look the images gave me.

This is a smart funny video. And I think you hit the middle ground of shock at the demand, but also just liking the product. Fuji has really hit a sweet spot in the market. They should ride this until it runs its course. I own a V, love it, but have no plan to buy the VI - for exactly the reasons you state. But I’m glad that all those folks who couldn’t get a V can now join the fun with the VI.

I am a professional photographer and have used my x100f on several commercial shoots. They are professional quality if you know what you're doing with it.

Oh thank you, at least ONE video asking if a camera is worth it....I have an idea, put a year in it, so you can do it every year. That would be very inovative.

I'll buy one in a couple years for 1000.00 or wait for the 100VII which will likely have a an improved lens to match the 40mg sensor thats easy to use.

Why not use a phone, if you combine your camera and phone budget you can get a better quality camera such as the s24 ultra, or if you are a camera nerd a sony xperea
