Since arriving in England in 1961, the country has changed a lot. Some good and some bad things have happened. England is still England, and it's up to the people who live there to take care of a beautiful country.

Oh River I adore you. I do wish for the days of innocence that we had as school children. The vocabulary that once was held by the common man is now far beyond most educated people.

River, I've pulled up the video but not yet played it. I will do, and may add a comment then. But right now I'm fighting tears and praying for those lovely, innocent young girls tragically stabbed to death and their families and friends. It's so unbelievably cruel and I can't imagine the heartbreak the families are feeling. They're with The Lord now, but their loss will always be felt. I just had to find a way to reach out in some way for my friends in the UK to convey my heartfelt condolences to the nation, I'm sure you're all in shock and apprehension at the growing violence in the world. Prayers and blessings to all, and to you for allowing me to comment on your channel. 🙏🙏🙏

My Cathedral usually does a carols galore service in which we sing about 12 traditional carols interspersed with readings of the Christmas story. Last year the Dean and music director did 5, 3 of which they were wanting us to do actions to , like 5 year olds! I've enjoyed that service for about 20 years but wokeism has infected the C of E to such an extent that religion seems to be taking a back seat. It seems to stem from the head IMO and Justin Welby has a lot to answer for. I too used to love assemblies and hymns at school and singing in the choir and music lessons I learnt to appreciate music in all its forms. The watering down of everything traditional is very sad and children are missing out on basic joy of community singing and religion. IMO

The dumbing down of the populace is just a means to an end for the powers that be so as to make everyone more dependent upon government therefore more controllable- the people then get to where they depend on handouts from government and then if they don’t behave in the way the government wants them to behave then government just shuts down those handouts wake up folks please - this is a communistic move

Condolences to the Fellowes family and to all those in Southport - especially the families & the friends of the little ones who were only trying to have a day of happiness and joy. When events like what the UK has been experiencing the past few days occurs, I wonder what is happening to humanity in today's world. The dumbing down of society is happening across America too! I've two children, both teachers, who are frustrated with the way politics has become so much a part of what, & especially how, they are told to teach. The one who teaches science to 14 yr olds has had to teach many students how to do the math that they need to know to be able to understand the science they are being taught. The lack of respect for teachers from both some of the student's parents & the "higher ups" in some school's administration, creates a difficult environment for many teachers who really do care for their students well being & progress.

Hi darling River, it is just heartbreaking with what has happened. My thoughts and prayers go out to all. The state of the world is horrendous. This violence has to stop. It’s happening far too frequently all over the world. What’s wrong with people?? I just can’t comprehend. It’s sickening. We are so looking forward to seeing King Charles and Queen Camilla visit our shores. It would be absolutely fabulous for Prince William and Catherine to visit thereafter. We adore the Wales Family. The majority of Australians love our Monarchy and do not want to become a Republic. Anthony Albanese’s name is pronounced with ‘e’ at the end like ‘see’. Sorry to correct you but you have pronounced incorrectly in previous broadcasts. Thank you for your entertaining and informative broadcasts. You make chuckle. Much love from Sydney. Stay fruity! 🍑 We love you ♥️🇦🇺

Ever since we kicked The Lord out of our govts & schools, evil has grown & spread throught the world, especially through 'illegalimigration"!!! I hate hot weather and a searing hot sun. In the summer, I prefer cloudy days and rain. In the winter, a brisk, cold day with clear skies and sunshine is lovely. I wither on the vine in hot, sunny weather. Your tropical patterned blouse is perfect for summer and you look very summery. Hurt people can certainly hurt other people but some hurt people develop deep empathy for other people's pain and go out of their way to try to not hurt anyone due to their awareness of what being hurt felt like, ie, their capacity for Empathy. It depends entirely upon the individual and how they've processed past emotional injuries, their emotional maturity and their ability to keep their perspective on life. It also depends on a person's innate strength of character.
