Mune just suddenly flared up a few days ago my bottom lip randomly got a little bigger and after a while they got dark spots i thought it was just weather changing from hot to cold but it kept going worse and the only thing that used to work is honey and coconut oil. When i felt this isn't normal is when i started doing research about it since i didnt even knew what was going on with me they got even darker now. I miss my pink pretty lips

I don't have eczema but I just got Angular Cheleitis for the first time. I literally thought it was a cold sore 😮. I tried different treatments for 2 weeks and nothing was working. Even the fungal creams didn't work, the only thing that worked was putting a thick layer of petroleum on my lips. I had to stop using my typical chapsticks and had to put the petroleum on before brushing my teeth because the tooth paste was irritating my lips.

I know no one wants unsolicited advice- including me. But I will share what works for me. Dupixent has changed my life. I was in a very dark place before it. I hope that what works for you helps you feel better because eczema is a life sentence of pain and suffering when uncontrolled.

I had this for the last 3 months. It would heal up partially for a week and then come back. I believe it was from reusable floss picks. I got rid of them and started using Providone-Iodine on the affected area 2-3 times a day. It kills both candida and staph. I also started using Aquaphor healing ointment. It began to heal up fast and a week later it is gone. I believe this has solved my issue. If you are dealing with this I highly recommend those two over the counter and relatively cheap medications to heal this issue. I did also use Hydrogen Peroxide but this can cause further drying of your lips so only do that if your going to apply the Aquaphor after. I hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the video. Great information, however, it’s always frustrating to hear what not to do, instead of hearing what. I just want to know a healthy diet l can try until the skin problems have gone away.

Thank you so much for all this info. One of the most informative videos I've watched so far. I went through TSW about 8 years ago and it was hell to deal with but the results were so amazing it was worth it. I had the most beautiful, soft, glowy skin. Just recently I developed a rash that started on my shoulder, then it was my hands, some parts of my arms, then my legs. I can't tell if Im going through TSW again or if this is a terrible eczema, psoriasis flare up. Its awful and painful and I'm miserable all over again. One thing I've noticed differently is that the rashes I have aren't full body which I'm thankful for, but anytime during the day I'll end up with welts on parts of my body just for scratching. It's so sensitive if I scratch I get a welt, if something is on me I get welts. Did you ever experience this? Did you get nerve pain at all during this time while going through your healing journey?

Grew up in Africa and as white person often got sunburn, Now! we usually wore short sleeved shirts when out in he sun - bad idea, now at nearly 90 my fore arms are realy" scared" hydrocorizon cream made them worse ! However I did try another chemcal which was supposed to make a chemical peel this was a disaster. so maybe hydrocortizon is not entirely to blame ?

Yes, my son inherited many types of allergies from his dad. It started since he was 10 days old. It's a non-stop battle for us:). We changed the place of living to prevent him from developing asthma and it did help (live in the mountain area) . But eczema is more difficult to stop, it comes back from time to time and it's so difficult for a child. I hope you'll get better and your child will grow up without any allergies!
@naturully5 ай бұрын
I'm sorry to hear about your son :( if it helps there's much more research now on how to handle it from a young age and its more likely that kids will grow out of it now. But the allergies are still increasing and it's baffling scientists!

LOL! 😅 I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I found this video and started watching it AFTER..... 1. I just finished a large orange! 🚫 2. Had some walnuts! 🚫 3. Husband walked in with a bushel of plums that I had asked him for. 🚫 4. Was getting ready to eat roasted red pepper hummus with chunks of bell pepper added to it. 🚫 5. Also, grapes, pineapple and watermelon are my favorite fruits and I enjoy a good size serving one or two of them each day! 🚫🚫🚫 I GIVE UP! 😫

Ive never had eczema until 3 months ago it started with a dry patch on my lip and it spread to my whole lip. My whole lip peeled off and now its dry and thin and damaged. So i feel like i have to constantly apply lipbalm as it slowly heals but up to 3 weeks ago my lips started to have itchy bumps and it will disappear and come back again and again after 4 days or it bein clear. Im starting to think if maybe my lips are irritated from all the lipbalm.. what do i do..

For angular cheilitis, what do you think of Nystatin? It’s a prescription, it’s fairly inert as far as side effects according to Medscape, but I’d rather avoid using it if something else works just as effectively. I know petroleum jelly (Vaseline) is a useful prophylactic, but to actually get rid of it…is a tiny dab of tea tree oil every few days too much of an irritant? I’m thinking of using tea tree on one corner and Clotrimazole 1% (antifungal) on the other. Does this sound about right? Thank you for your work! ❤

Great video! I’ve been working on reducing my cortisol level. It’s super hard. Doing a lot these days; daily walks, deep breathing, meditating, prayer, gratitude, supplements, exercise, reading, and sitting out in the sun. It’s taking a while. Just started diffusing lavender oil. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Did you have issues with your cortisol level?

I get my worst flare ups in the summer. Mine starts out “wet”. Very inflamed streaks that turn into huge patches of puffy itchy red inflamed skin. Then it sort of “scabs” over into a drier rash. Covers my back of knees, inner elbows, my back, my breast, stomach, and mouth….I had a mental break down today (lack of sleep from severe itching and burning) and went to the urgent care for a steroid shot and cream. This disease is exhausting.

The only thing I dislike about your video is hearing how long it took to heal! I may not live long enough (LOL). I'm 79 and going through the worst case of eczema I have ever had or ever could have imagined. After having a very bad case on my foot and leg, plus swelling, it started up on my eyes, then all over my face and lips. No kind of lip balm works. And good old vaseline seems to work better than any very expensive "eczema creams" (I spent $50 for 1.7 oz of cream that was supposed to be wonderful. NOT!). I have changed my diet, also found that I had a bacterial infection (which came first? The chicken or the egg?). My facial swelling did go down after taking the antibiotic, but came back again. Very frustrating situation. I've always had dry skin from living in a high altitude, dry environment, but always had good skin (especially on my face). Yikes. Worst type of thing you can suffer with. Thank you for making this video. I hope it can help me.

Gosh so sorry to hear you are going through this at your life stage! Not ideal... could it be something in the air/water? Do you have any option to travel somewhere that might help the skin heal quicker? I found warm (not hot) milder temperatures helped to get things moving but I know it's not always practical or possible to travel
