Wondering whether you have any background on Shirley's residency at the Cafe de Paris, or the song itself. My father, Christopher Hodder-Williams, co-wrote it with Ian Grant and I should love to know more.

Hi Simon, I haven't got much more to say on this subject sorry, Ian Grant seemed to get the most pr out of it. DSB dropped the song from her repertoire fairly early in her career, not the most PC lyrics she has sung. It did get attention at the time though and I have a warm spot for this song hence the video.
