Great video guys. That's a mark I've been wanting to fish since the start of the year. Any parking restrictions to be aware of?

@@thetaffydangler717 no, none at all. The car park at the end of the lane (whale wharf lane) holds about 6 cars. Aust is supposed to be brilliant to, but we haven’t tried there yet.

You still on the mono on your multipliers? Im still sticking to mono on my multipliers but everyone seems to be going over to fixed spool and braid
@worseyfishingadventures3 ай бұрын
@@leecarterreppinjesuschrist7686 at the moment, yes, I think a lot of people fishing the deeper marks and really rough marks (especially up north) are swapping to braid, and a lot swapping over to F/S. Locally in south wales, I’m seeing mono on peoples reels. I’ll sit back and watch some mates swap first and see how they find it, lol!
@leecarterreppinjesuschrist76863 ай бұрын
@@worseyfishingadventures yea i fish the north east and there nearly all on heavy braid straight through on the fixed spool ( apparently you can use it on a multi but im scared to crush my beloved sloshes) and i love my daiwa sloshes and dnt want to sell them or leave them in the garage collecting dust so il hwve to keep perserving on with them.. and whats your pb bass?
@worseyfishingadventures3 ай бұрын
@@leecarterreppinjesuschrist7686 yeah, I’ve heard a lot on the NE with the braid, and on Scotland skate! I’m not sure how the SLOSH spools would handle it tbh. I haven’t caught any big bass…nothing more than 4lb! Max has caught bigger ones than me, I think his PB is 5lb8oz…some plans later this year to try and find some bigger ones!

Cracking session there lads what size tides can you fish there on cheers Martin
@worseyfishingadventures3 ай бұрын
Medium tides best…when they’re too big the water can come up over the bank. Too small and it stays very shallow and you don’t get long fishing. I use a local tide book for Cardiff from Garry Evans…normally about 11.5m(ish) on that one.

How did you find the tronix net fella and where did you get it from please if you don’t mind me asking
@worseyfishingadventures3 ай бұрын
Sorry for the delayed response. It’s good. I really wanted an extendable net, but spoke to lots of people and everyone had same consensus that there isn’t many on the sea market and if there is, there’s a weakness on the join. This feels solid and wouldn’t bend etc. and nets big enough for bulk of catches around our shores (except tope). Decent value too. We use an old small, extendable carp net for matches where we could drop fish lifting them out, but it wouldn’t be strong enough for hounds etc. off a breakwater.

Hi mate, the fixed spool one is the AFAW Six n Bait. I’ve been very impressed with it. Biggest fish he’s had was a blonde of 14lb8oz(ish) which it handled great. Equally as good scratching etc. (for the lighter surf beaches he’s got a couple of others not quite as beefy)

Thanks for the comment. It’s a steep slope and steps to get down to the beach but the majority of it has a hand rail. Drop me a message on Facebook if you want any specifics. (The bottom steps can be slippery as there’s lots of green carpet weed so take care on that)
