Stop playing it like it's poe1 XD don't bite off more than you can chew in terms of mob groups. Walking backwards is the way to go. Also, the way you pay absolutely no attention to the game really shows the D4 origin. How do you plan to gather impressions this way?... I really liked your poe1 playthrough, but that style doesn't fit in poe2.

Have to strongly disagree about the campaign skip. Its ok in some games but skipping the campaign is basically skipping the game. Each class has such a different feel its really good to experience from start to finish. Plus you would be cutting a major adventure out. Lastly, how would this actually effect playing the game? Like you get one character to maps, quit, start a new character and immediately be able to run maps with it? Seems like an L to me. Then what about hardcore. You get to maps, die and then pick right back up where you left off (basically)? The campaign is the game! If skipping it is fun for you then just go play an afk auto mobile game.

Why everything is falling in this inclusion bs? Jesus even Diablo is inclusive and diverse now...

you know what d4 voh should have done? okay this is the base exp, and every season should further story and the final season for the exp should be bringing meph into the picture as a final boss. that.. would be amazing and cool and make everyone want to join in every season to keep up with the story. BUT NO. they will piece meal every exp and give us lack luster seasonal content. literal filler for filler. d4 lost me with this. and i wont even begin with the self insert of the neyrelle and that one director. im embarrassed i paid 100+ for the exp.

Just started this game. It’s really fun so far.

Important note about scrap: there’s a lot of places in the game that have a scrap cost to unlock progress, plus it’s a core part of the craft system. Scrap is a random drop that can be found in chests, destructible objects, and enemies. Rather than wandering, log out to menu and reopen the game. It will drop your character at the nearest town center and respawn all enemies, chests, and objects. It makes farming pretty simple. Long term it’s common enough of a drop that you should accumulate a metric shit ton of it. You can just dump it (along with all the extra components you don’t use) in your shared stash. Then when any of your characters need it they have access. Plus crafting will automatically pull from stash which is very convenient!

d3 and d4 were garbage

Good story, not sure it was worth full price DLC money thou. I feel like they could have done more and I’m curious where Diablo is in all of this - maybe in D5.

Short answer is yes. I just came back from PoE 2 after buying into all the hype and I feel like my time was wasted. I ended up missing a lot of the features and QoL that are only found in D4. PoE 2 was trying to be exactly like D2 which drove me crazy. They were being too conservative with that game without introducing anything new. All the endgame mechanics were boring and copy/paste from PoE 1 while at the same time missing 99% of the PoE 1 mechanics. Whoever is still saying that PoE 2 is better than D4 needs to have their brain examined because there's nothing objective to back up their opinions.

Geonor's fight is really so cool, him monologuing while you try to fight off the wolves and him inevitably jumping onto you multiple times.

Very pumped for ACT 2 to drop. I steamrolled through this and have no idea what’s going on. After watching this , now I’m invested.

So basicly the same thing AGAIN - after u defeated the prime evil someone takes the stone and starts going around the place fucking it up and you chase after them and then AGAIN u have to defeat a prime evil just to have the story repeat for the 4-5th time. Besides changing characters nothing really changes for either side be that High Heaven , Hell or Sanctuary well i mean Sanctuary is getting worse and worse by the day with each game but other than that there is a clear lack of progress in the story.

1:17 seems Blizzard just can't learn the lesson of leaving cannon lore in the game and not else where...

I played poe on release and i just started playing now cause my laptop isnt strong enough to play poe2 lol i dont really remember much and my reactions are exactly like urs.. "oh i can put this gem and add that gem? Cool!" Lol It was hard for me to start the game cause everyone says its very difficult.. but im having a great time... i spent about 10h playing yesterday and im lvl 12 still on act 1 (i over grinded areas just to make sure i was strong enough for end of act 1) I end up looking up "what lvl should i be for act 2" and i read i should be lvl 5 lmfao Having a blast so far taking my time😅
