It was tied for the river, but there's no reason why it shouldn't work on stillwaters.

Hi Geoff; from Canada,Alberta. Just a few notes. Your right Geoff, this fly was very hard. Although I am a beginner it took me 1 hr. to finish it, however, I did it and it looks great... Reminds me of a lake wet that I can't remember how to spell it. It is only hen hackle for the fly. No body just hen hackle with different colors.
