When Lois Lane dies - and Chloe brings her back to life and dies herself, I always thought that that would have been an opportune time for Chole to 'become' Lois - to have placed herself into Lois's body. She always loved Clark and being a reporter and she was never in the original comics (which didn't focus much on a young Superman). It would have been a great twist for the story.

There were few moments as emotional to me as this on Smallville. My father while still alive is fighing everyday due to health complications. He is a tough son of a bitch, but I know it will be this year or next that we will all have to say good bye. What hits me so hard, is my father did have land, and a red tractor, nearly the same age and model the one protrayed on the tv screen. As a kid, the same age as the actor is portraying a young Clark Kent, I used to sit on his lap and he would let me "drive" it hahaha. I will miss him. I have such empathy for those before me, whoes loss of a father connects with this scene. It breaks me, even looking at the still of it, before I found this. I remember watching this when it came out.

I'm thinking Miss Chloe has a secret or two of her own...

Tom Welling should have accepted to wear the Superman costume after season 7. If not for the logic of the story, or his carrer, anyway, his choice proved to be a bad move.
