I think it's a bad combination of "sticking around with a mom at work" and a very high paying "job"...It just trap the mentality of staying around...along with a confusion about where to draw a line between a personal and professional life and especially when having a sexual relationship with "the boss". But when all things morphed consistently then it's "harder" to get out when all the survival-needs are already provided for. And that's where she just accept into this state of reality.

I was hoping that maybe they could have a full redemption arc for Alicia going forward. They didn't have to axe off her character just after reintroducing her. Plus, one of the things I felt Smallville should have done was change things up a little bit to make the series more interesting. And one of those changes I would have done was have Clark interacting with more superpowered individuals and forming a small team with them. A mini-Justice League if you will. And I don't mean what they would eventually do in Season 6 that only lasted a few episodes. I mean really showcasing Clark not only being able to share his secret but also be with others who have powers similar to him. And having Alicia be the start of that could have been a great way to give her purpose, especially when it's someone who was once a villain.

Allison Mack's ('Chloe Sullivan's') reaction to learning Clark's true alien origin, was top notch acting. Too often in previous Superman TV shows and movies, key characters learning of Clark's true origin, don't seem to portray the enormous gravity of being informed of such Earth-shattering info that answers the big question of, "Are we alone in the universe?' Allison Mack's acting was severely underrated. Too bad she made terrible choices in real life. But you have to give her credit where credit is due regarding her acting. The Chloe Sullivan character was actually my favorite in the show, along with its version of Lois Lane played by Erica Durrance.

@Moviefan2k45 ай бұрын
For the umpteenth time, Allison was NOT the head decision maker at NXIVM - Keith Raniere held that position. Allison believed in him, and did things she shouldn't have, but in the end she woke up, turned against Keith, and helped the cops put him away. She spent time in prison to pay for her sins, and I'm sure when the time is right she will reveal her side of the story to the world. But I really do think its way past time at this point, for most people to show her some grace. A few may say "she doesn't deserve it", but that's the best thing about forgiveness - its an unearned gift.

Its funny how people takes some events in a logical way and discount the emotional state of the characters. At Season 4, Clark was about 18 years old, not a smartass old timer detective. But a grown up emotional mess teenager with barely legal age to enter a bar without fake ID. His GF, who've been accused of murder crimes, called him asking for help with a panic voice. Even adults dont think straight enough to make racional decisions under panic or stress, specially with time restrains (until car crashs) So no... - His panicked 18yo head would not think of suggesting her to teleport - Even if thar was the case, he would worry the car would hurt someone else. - Even with super hearing, he needs to focus on hearing what he wants, so he would not look for people if he didnt expect to be people around (he probably thought Alicia teleported out and just decide to go back) - Even if Clark was a Torch reporter, he didnt had the same passion as Chloe, and not even her as a passion driven one was able to put together that Clark wasnt your average farm boy. - Chloe was about the same age, and it's normal to turn a blind eye for what you dont wanna see at younger ages. We dont make racional decisions most times, we are emotional beings, even the super alien from Krypton showed with Red K that he has every single one of the humans flaws that we do, he just was created by better parents. Not super cop/detective parents... FARMERS. And the most human thing to do, is exact what the comment section is trying to do: "Remember a past event and think of what ifs with a calm mind and come up with better ways to deal with said events". Almost nobody makes the best decisions on their live at any given moment, why he would be different?

Funny how she barely reacted when he caught a car flying at him but was really shocked when he used super speed.

2:06 the look on Chloe's face was priceless. She reminds me of a friend at work called Sandi but Tom theres another called Zack who looks like him if Tom had a wave in his hair.

And I never realized until now that Clark catching the car was a call back to the very first Action Comics cover.

Puts a damper on the nostalgia when you realize Allison Mack (Chloe) was arrested for running a sex cult

You missed one important scene in the memory loss episode, the very final one when she says "you made all the same choices except for you. You trusted me"

Being 16 or 17 in highschool and seeing one of your Best friends catch an 1800 lb car at probably 60 or 70+ like it was a 2 oz toy car. A Christian girl might wonder if she were looking at God.

What I want to know is how Alicia could teleport herself and Chloe *from* a standing position *to* a seated position in the car.
@daniellegoffpollack4156 Жыл бұрын
it's quite simple really if someone pushes a chair against the back of your legs you automatically sit down. theoretically the teleportation to the car was a similar effect. Either that or the producers really didn't put that much thought into such a minor detail.
