I've a 1.9bls with 192k miles it made 144bhp on dyno it's running perfect. Does 52-55mpg. Just change oil the every 9k miles with VW507 5W30 and filters ect

Oldie are goldie 06 t5 1.9 face lift front so cheap to run a little underpowered but who can go over 70 mph with all the cameras about, nice work Nathan 😊

the battery size dosnt matter because alternators float charge so do most battery chargers. in car audio we run the biggest battery up front then whatever we can make work in the rear, you can even run agm with some lithiums with a cut off because the batterys take all the charge they can, the alternator dosnt know or care what its charging

NBT@DTETV love it Nath. Only issue I have had with the LED lights is the UV coating breaks down and they go all crackley. In the process of rubbing one down at the minute.... but it's too cold to be doing that sort of thing. Fancy making the rear reflectors into drls. I've not seen anyone do any. Hi been watching the channel for 18 months or so now love the VW content especially the recent VW 7 seater video and the recent caddy purchases what a bargain eh 👍 “Ah yeh” great car great job on that bodywork on the touran I really dig the colour I’ve just recently bought a golf 5 plus, 56 plate it got the 1.9 bkc PD engine 88k miles with service history and timing belt pump & pulleys all done @ 56k however I’ve noticed a few gremlins other than the rusted out outer cills (Nothing new there it’s a VW thing) is when the engine gets warm and it’s ticking over at operating temperature every now and again it gets lumpy I’m thinking miss fire faulty injector or leeks nothing on diagnostic shows up other than I’ve got an EGR code but that’s ok it needs mapping out after delete and I can smell and taste diesel in the oil after changing it recently for Manoll 5/40 synthetic pd engine oil no mayonnaise anywhere to be seen so I’m pretty confident it’s not cylinder head gasket related I’ve got no coolant issues or leeks on that front and also the clutch pulls like a train no slipping in all gears however I get extreme clutch judder in the mornings when it’s cold only when pulling away in 1st gear I’m thinking possibly oil getting on to the clutch or failing pressure plate so I’ll get that done but still got the unsolved mystery oil contamination issue please don’t say dodgy injectors there an absolute fortune to replace 😮

Fittet mine in my MK4 today. Had to wait for the newer frame bacause they standard send the MK3 frame.... Works good but still leraning. At 29:36 you say you will fit it to AUX. Ok, but its only a Mono Signal. So bad Sound ore you have to connect left and right to red and black to gnd. BNut will still be bad mono sound. ;)
