Fair play mate. Brendon is over the moon with his car. Like you said in the video, he didn’t know that his dad had agreed to do some trick bits on it to make it his own. It’s an hour drive home from yours and I could see him smiling all the way home 😆 that is one very happy new driver. I can let you know when we got home he took me his dad and Mum for a little blast around the block… and not one rub or any issues. Perfect 🤙🏼

Good stuff DT. Always a challenge when diagnosing a 'noise' and when you get things in bits and the re is nothing obvious. But spot on with that CRB Sleeve. Need to get the wee dub through the Dartford Tunnell with that Hornet Zorst

Hey Karter yes I was hoping to find something more definitive when I pulled the box off but nope, glad it’s was an easy one. Haha yes gota love a loud zorst through a tunnel 👍 I do still sometimes drop my caddy a few gears when going in a tunnel.

Great work there Nathan and thank you for the video. Brendon will be pleased as punch with his Polo especially with the fruity exhaust, lowered ride height and GTi grill. What a cracking little first car. Have to say though the mechanical build quality of new vehicles is definitely lacking compared to vehicles of the noughties. There's no way vehicles of today will do anything like the mileage that your Transporter had done with the original drivetrain etc still in place.

sounds nice luckily i had a mk3 astra gsi with a 2.5 v6 as a first car (2004 feeling prehistoric now) my pal had a 1L 3banger corsa with exhaust sounded good but didnt go anywhere and deffo wouldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding

I've got a 1.0 TSI Caddy Mk4 and I think it goes well, without all the TDI hassles. Doesn't do many miles each so year so mpg is fine.

Those gearboxes in those MPI engines always seem to rattle away. Even from new, albeit that does sound louder on camera. I’ve seen a lot of Polos and UP!s now in my job and can’t believe how they sound
