UPDATE: I’ve let Blue Madeleine settle for a few more days and the longevity is better. It’s less of a skin scent now. It’s still closer to the skin but performance is better and likely will continue to improve. It’s still soft but less of a skin scent now!

Hi Hayley! New Subbie here!!! I am so glad you reviewed these 2 as I had been waiting to see at least one opinion before picking them up! They sound so different then what I am used to from this fragrance house! That actually gets me excited! I love a great tea note fragrance so Blue Madeleine is a yes for me! I am going to try and get a sample of the second one though because I just have so many rose fragrances! I am trying to be really selective with what I add! You are so welcome! It might not be a skin scent for others but it’s just how it performs on me. Curious to see some reviews to see how it performs for others. It might get stronger too depending on how long it’s been matured for but it’s still beautiful. I wish it was stronger though

I’ve been excited about blue madeleine! Atelier des ors is a surprise favorite brand for me, every bottle I’ve owned I just absolutely dent right away. Excited to see them go in a different direction too

I just received Blue Madeleine and got samples of both. Beautiful, stunning perfumes-the BEST out of their collection and I have smelled them all. They really took a risk w these as so different from their first collection, and I thought pink me up was too safe… Villa Primerose does indeed smells like rose scented calf gloves, gorgeous. Blue Madeleine does exactly what it should - evoke, comfort. I can’t imagine this as a loud scent, I think it would defeat the purpose and not wear well. Now I have to buy Villa primerose 🌹 Great work Atelier des Ors ❤❤

Hey Hayley! Does Blue Madeleine smell like One Umbrella For Two? You put me on OUFT when you said you almost used it as your wedding scent. I blind bought and absolutely love it. It really delivers on the blueberry muffins and tea, and I'm curious if Blue Maddy delivers on the concept too? I've smelled the entire AdO house and have found every scent to have a note that is somewhat challenging, even Lune Feline my favorite from the house, has the challenging BO note. I think Pink Me Up has been the most mass appealing. Is the milk note challenging to your nose? Does it remind you of any other scents, like Happy Dust which is vanillic mate tea scent (very much a skin scent). Btw it's amazing to see all these big niche brands like Atelier des Ors, FdB and Amouage send you PR for review! I wanted to ask - of all these new releases, which ones are you liking the most, for example, between Sirene and Blue Mad, which are you enjoying more?

Not similar to me at all, Gris Charnel is heavy on sandalwood and fig, I don’t get the milky vibe either. Blue Madeline is softer to me

There are some similarities, I’d say Villa Primrose is a tad sweeter and the leather is a little softer too. The biggest difference I would say is the softness and the musk. However, if you like one you will likely like the other

I just had to get Blue Madeleine’s sister Villa Primrose today ❤ I tried a sample that came with Blue Madeleine and it wasn’t love at first sniff but the more I wore it and give it time, the more I was drawn to it despite me not liking rose and leather notes. Now I’m addicted to both 🩵🩷🩵🩷
