Hello, I am Michal from the Czech Republic, and I suffer from a severe form of cerebral palsy. A year ago, I developed a new e-shop on a Czech platform all by myself. A year ago, I had no clue about this kind of work, and I had to learn myself everything as an amateur. I have a small, or maybe a big question. When I write a category description, should there be an anchor with a link to the same category that I am describing or not?

Consider scope, competition, keywords, and desired results. Contracts should clarify deliverables, timelines, and payment terms.

Hey Daryl, finally a useful and practical video about SEO optimizations and recommendations! Thanks a lot! I have some questions hoping that you could share with me some of your thoughts. In this video, you tackle four areas but in the detailed link, there are eleven areas that you block. What areas do you recommend blocking for a complete SEO beginner like me? Also, is there a recent update on robots.txt optimisation for 2024?

Great videos, thanks for creating them! On stores that have been online for many years with the standard and problematic URL structure, when changing Shopify internal linking structure by removing the "within: collection". We then have to make URL redirects for every product that might be indexed already with its standard URL structure of 'collections/category/products/item'?
@darylrosser Жыл бұрын
Not needed. By default these pages don't have /collections/ in the URL, it's just added for internal links, then canonicalised. This fix is just adjusting the internal link issue. The old URLs will still be accessible and still be canonicalised.

Hi Daryl, Thank you for this video. I have one question; What do you think about getting multimple links from one domain? Are there any limits or recommendations from you? Will you be penaltized if you get too many links from one domain in a short period of time? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks again.

I appreciate the video but I have a few critiques. Theres 2 main arguments here. 1) it’s hard to sell the leads. Your explanation is lots of businesses don’t want more clients. This hugely depends on your niche, there’s plenty of niches that have higher capacities for clients. If you pick the right niche this won’t be a big issue at all. Being at max capacity 12 months a year is not as common as suggested. The second argument is you have to rely on them to land the lead. This would only be an issue if you are not clear in your pitch or you bend to their wishes. You should be charging per lead not per client landed. If they aren’t agreeing to this you either need a new niche with higher client spend or you’ve priced yourself too high. 1 landed lead should make up 20. So they’d just need 1 client out of 20 hot leads. This is very reasonable and most companies won’t let you walk over to their own local competitors just because they want an even better deal. You should always be prepared to walk away. Overall though an interesting video! Provides some good tips on what to look out for, and for some a retainer might fit their niche and work preferences better. I just don’t think any of the criticism were enough to be a deal breaker for anyone.
