Very cool video. I spent a year in Italy. We had the old MREs. The new ones aren't so bad. I think I'd have picked a different one than pizza, I mean really.. Outside of being large the Italian meals look pretty darn good. Actually making me hungry 😅

Dude the US has spent millions of dollars on their MRE's. I know a Vietnam vet that still eats MRE's when he goes camping.

I still like the Canadian rations the best. In Bosnia we also received French rations and that was not so great.

My friend was in Kosovo and did the whole ration exchange thing with various NATO countries and even the Russians who were there symbolically. He said you could tell which countries had terrible food by how much they were willing to trade for rations and which would refuse the rations. He got a couple British combat knives (and a whole lot of Russian vodka).
