i do mock trial and its crazy to me how much of this stuff we learn explicitly not to do in like the first 2 months of freshman year of high school before doing our first case. like objecting to the same thing several times when its clear the judge doesnt like it, asking stupid questions that clearly cant be answered, and like… you’re supposed to adjust your questions based on the witnesses answers. if you ask a question and the witness explains + clarifies what u would later ask to clarify, dont ask them to clarify again?

As a woman, who has experienced domestic violence (my husband was getting physical during arguments, but he attended therapy, solved his issues and didn't become agressive for the last 2 years now) I can surely tell you: She is not a victim! She is a punch in the face of each and every woman who really did have to deal with domectic abuse. She is a reason why nobody believes women on this topic.
