Just drove a 2025 with a cvt to get the feel of the car. The cvt still feels like a rubber band is driving the wheels. You floor it, the engine revs for 1.5 seconds with sluggish acceleration, and then it finally whizzes to speed moderately. AND IT FAKE SHIFTS! WHY? Gross. I KNOW a CVT. Don't insult my intelligence, nissan. Steering does feel a bit light. Which is awesome at 0-15 mph. Above that, it feels unnecessary and numb. Yup its an econobox. No i don't expect it to feel like a nissan Z. However it does feel confident being slung around a round about at 25 mph once you get used to steering being numb. If they could just dial back the power steering, it would be awesome in the corners. Stereo sounds amazing for what it is. Could use a couple aftermarket a pillar tweeters. Audio gets plenty loud without too much distortion. I'm hoping to find a new 2025 5mt in anything else than white. Not a fan of the redesigned front clip. Definitely looks cheaper. Doesn't have any depth to it. It looks painted on. But i don't have to look at it from the driver's seat. Steering wheel feels thinner than the average new car, which i very much like. Has nice finger indents to the back of it. It would have looked premium 20 years ago. Its nice to see a smaller more compact airbag design. Steering wheels have looked hideous for the past 25 or so years due to the airbags being huge.

Hey guys so about last month I had a 2014 Toyota Tacoma it was a V6 with a long bed and a double cab. It had a towing package and a lift kit that was on it when I purchased the vehicle used. I got a 22,000 loan to buy it for $31,000 and I paid 11% interest. I got it as a personal loan because used car loans in 2021 were actually worse for me than a loan for my bank. Anyways I got hit a couple days before Thanksgiving and the guys insurance company paid me out 26,100. I owed 4 grand on the personal loan so I didn't wanna go over budget. I researched alot of good new cars with a manual and the verse kept popping up. Anyways I bought the car brand new 20 miles. It's black 2025 S with a 5 speed. I spent 19k out the door cash and paid off my loan. This is my first new car and I'm so happy I don't have a single car payment ❤️

What i like is the power feels accessible. In so many other cars I feel discouraged about driving them in a spirted manner, for one reason or another. If I car is heavy I dont want to punch it because Im thinking of all the braking power and tire wear and fuel wasted, having to stop all that mass. If it has a CVT I dont want to stress the fragile CVT. If its some street beast I dont want to draw attention while possibly loosing control. But the Versa is tossable while manageable with its power to weight ratio, and with the simple port injection, lack of turbo, simple manual trans etc, it doesnt feel like Im risking as much when I drive it in a spirited fashion.

What I don't like: I was expecting the engine to be a little more refined but it is actually a bit noisy. You can notice while on idle. Also, the overall cabin noise isolation is not great; past 70mph you start to hear a humming sound or if you ride a little over a trail road you hear the dirt hitting the chasis. I am not regreting the purchase; it serves its purpose of being a cheap economy car packed with safety features for city and the ocasional highway trip . It is just I was used to drive better cars.

The key to appreciating this car is to have no particular expectations. At the price point it's much more car than the Mitsubishi Mirage, although those are reliable.

Very organic carbureted engines. No subframe, engine sits directly on car body so you feel it, unlike on modern cars. Era of Honda perfection, this gen the cabin was so-so, 2nd gen best looking cabins and body, best instrument panels ever put in a modern car. Mr. Soichiro Honda last touch before his death.

Question so I’m trying to understand the warranty on these guys so at 10 years 120,000 miles if no emissions parts have been replaced with warranty it no longer has warranty correct? Let’s say a emissions component was replaced under warranty at 100k it’s now covered for 4 years or 48,000 miles so let’s say at 145k another emissions part needs replacing under the warranty do I get another 48k miles of warranty all the way up to 188k?

4 years 48K from the time the AEM was completed and that's it. The bluetec settlement website goes into details about what is specifically covered.

Another thing is that at high RPM will distribute the force along a higher number of revolutions, that decrease the force on the piston, the lower the RPM the higher the force each piston need to endure for the same speed.

I am sure you already know this, but maybe someone doesn't. Typically you should really avoid letting your gas tank get below like 1/3-1/4. The fuel pump is a hard to replace component and usually the gasoline actually acts as a coolant helping to keep the fuel pump cool. Constantly running a car with low gas could cause the fuel pump to fail prematurely and is usually an unpleasant job.
@youtoobe16919 күн бұрын
A lot of people say that, but I've driven over a million miles in my life and always run the fuel down to fumes. I've never had a fuel pump issue.
