Andrew how is this a dipole antenna, the feed is single ended

I'm going to modify my mc888 zte the same way hopefully, if I bring out 4 x 5G and 4 x 4G would I need to use all of the antennae? Or could I just buy a 4x4 mimo 5g/4g and use 2 of each on it? Thanks for the video!

Recommendation for anyone here who doesn't live close to a cell tower and doesn't have a 5G router yet, get yourself a Zyxel NR73xx outdoor router instead. Performs extremely well under n78 and B7 (I'm getting -105dBm n78 from around 7km away with it). Had a indoor router instead and while it was somewhat good, it connected to a closer tower with B3+8 only.

Hey mate, did you ever figure out the antennas for the H122? There's a black square up on the front wall and on the left wall, I believe the left wall is the LTE main ie that's what you would aim to target a mast. Front wall I think is just a 5G high band only SA. Each corner has some real tall antennas with one connector, two blacks on the right hand corners and two greens on the left hand corners. Trying to work out if it is worth me swapping around the big corner antennas you see.

Those little UFL connectors are a nightmare. Ive a link somewhere to a little tool to help fit them easierer. Yes thats a word now.

battery mod is easy take it apart like you see here disconnect the wire replace with a longer one so you can hook up turnigy 1.45 battery from the out side there is plenty of room

Hi Andrew, very informative video thanks for that. I would like to use this modification on a router I use in my campervan. However I have mounted an external antenna with only two 5g and two 4g antenna's plus two wifi antenna's. Would it work when I only do half of the modification? So disconnect half of the internal antenna's and connect them through your mod to te external antenna and leave the other ones in function as they are? Let me thank you in advance for your reply.
