@@netman88 I was surfing the web looking for some ideas on a home plumbing project I'm getting ready to take on and was watching a few videos on working with Pex. In the process, I commented on another video about using Sharkbite. The net of the other comment was that I had a plumbing leak in my rental house and it was in a location where I didn't want to sweat the fittings on. My wife worked at Home Depot, and the guy in plumbing suggested Sharkbite. I was a little skeptical, but I decided to try it. I got two Sharkbite couplings and replaced about a five foot section of copper with Pex B. I used Scotchbrite to clean the outside of the copper pipe and deburred the inside. I replaced the leaky section and checked it for leaks, I saw none. I knew it used rubber O-rings, so I wasn't sure how long the rubber O-rings would last. Well, the repair was done somewhere around 2005 - 2006, and it held until recently. A couple of months ago I noticed a slightly damp area under one of the fittings. I bought another pair of Sharkbites and replaced the two fittings and the Pex. I was pretty impressed that what was intended as a temporary fix lasted almost twenty years. But since Sharkbite utilizes rubber O-rings, I think it will eventually leak. It will take a while though.

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about your flat tires and battery issue. I did get 1 flat but I had it repair at America's Tire given my sidewall on the tires were not damaged. I figure what I was doing wrong so my battery drain issue is a non-issue. I asked the dealer about that and the mechanic wrote a long paragraph on it. Essentially, the mechanic indicated to put the key fob at least 9 feet away or a faraday box (if you buy one of these boxes, test the box to see if it works). I tested the theory with a battery checker and it's true. No more voltage or parasitic drain of any large amounts after that. I can do a video on that findings in another video. There will always be some drain on the 12V battery given these are modern vehicles with technology. If one leaves the radio running without the vehicle being ON or leave the map light or dome light ON over 30 minutes, it can drain the battery over time also. If you need immediate power as a jump start, probably get one like NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000A UltraSafe Car Battery Jump Starter, 12V Jump Starter Battery Pack, Battery Booster, Jump Box, Portable Charger and Jumper Cables for 6.0L Gasoline and 3.0L Diesel Engines at amzn.to/4jAuOnU The car batteries can be trickled charged with a battery Noco 5 battery Charger (slow charger is battery for battery) then I would get amzn.to/3CgGbko

@@netman88 I had no idea!! I literally picked up my car from the dealership the other day-the batteries were in limited stock and took almost a week for it to arrive. Thankfully, it was still under warranty. I have the premium edition. Another thing I have issues with is the inability to take it to a car wash-all the sensors go off and it’s so difficult to put it in Neutral…and speaking of the sensors-when driving during snow-the sensors in the front of the car all start going off as well as snow builds on the car. -thanks for reading!

It’s hard to troubleshoot over the internet, try to find an experienced and trustworthy mechanic to look at it.

I usually go to Costco for gas or 76.

Probably not good practice. You can probably purchase the screw from any Acura dealer to fix a lose or missing screw.

Thanks for watching, 1. Yes, most people like it. Best to test drive and seat in one to really know if it's for you. We sat in 1 for over 1 hour to be sure. 2. It's not capable to do that yet. 3. I have a NX350h but it doesn't recharge the battery when hybrid battery is slowing full. 4. I not the best person to answer this one since I have a NX350h but the vehicles are quite similar but the NX450h has a larger hybrid battery and can charge. 5. Probably other people can answer this one. All in all it really depends on the person testing driving if the vehicle is what they want. Check the clublexus forum if you also want other feedback.

OEM ones are designed for the vehicle. I also have used the aftermarket blades but fit aren't that great.

@@netman88now I’m a OEM person myself but on windshield wipers aftermarket works fine I’ve replace them twice and no issues in 5 years

I have never had that issue before. Maybe there's lots of power outage and it goes to battery? Or the battery brand isn't good.

That is an interesting idea! I have never tried that though. When I got the bucket open, I just chipped the large block of ice then everything started working again.

I took mine to the dealership and they corrected the misalignment.

Yw. After you change the current temperature to the new temperature, it would revert showing the current temperature.

I might not have explained it correctly. Current temperature is 38 which is too cold as some items are freezing. I followed your instructions and changed the temperature to 42, immediately afterwards it was 38 again. Thanks

A red power flag on a Whirlpool appliance typically indicates a power failure or outage, meaning the appliance has lost power and is not currently functioning properly.

The suspension drives fine and I didn’t feel any bottom out over bumps also. Best to test drive a NX to see.

Thanks for sharing. That's great gas mileage, but in my case we get stuck in many stop and go traffic up the mountains so that messed up the MPG. On a good day, I can get 36.5 MPG but never seem 40MPG for longer trips.
