Help me understand the depreciation and financing being added? Aren’t you duplicating the cost of the vehicle by adding both?

The source on that is from Edmunds.com total cost of ownership. The link to the source is in the description of the video. Depreciation is when the vehicle loses value and vehicles loses value everyday and as you drive it as the miles goes up. Financing is paying for the interest on the loan on the vehicle. I'm not a finance guru to explain this but I can tell that vehicles aren't investments that appreciates.
